Thanks. Will not be cutting anything! :blush:

Thoughts on size of plants vs tray size?
Im wondering if it’s going to be possible for these plants to all grow in this pan vs splitting them up into 2 setups…
I’m feeling like these are going to be much larger than my last grow.

Those pans look deep!
I wouldn’t worry about them

I’d consider two trays based on thinking of how big they’ll get as they grow. Before stretch… :thinking: You need space between them looking to the future IMHO

I’m thinking as far as the depth, plenty deep enough if that’s a concern like @Nicky says.
As far as the size of room, I’d be more like @neofirebird says. I would have about 2ft in between each plant. Those look like some big plants, or at least the leaves look big.

How much room do you have in there again?

I have at least 6ft x 6ft tent and have enough supplies to get the other setup going so I can split them, but can probably on do 2 setups. The pans are deep enough for sure! The plants are way bigger than my last grow. I dont think I can get 2 ft in between. Last grow I was tieing the plants everywhere as they were colliding and about to fall over! Trying to think wiser this time before we get that big LOL.
Thanks!

@HappyHydroGrower points out a very valid point, ideally you want 2ft x 2ft for a plant anything less is not ideal.
So try to get as close to that as possible

That’s going to be tough! :thinking: That was hard last round, and why I wanted to consider individual buckets. Another learning opportunity! Will try and split this week and let yall know how that goes.

I’m with these guys. If you were in soil. I would think you could do it. But in hydro. It will be harder. I didn’t see if those were photos or autos either. Photos you would have a reasonable chance. But even with a 4 week veg. I can fill a 2x2 area.

I’m getting other setup ready and will split into 2, best I can do with these trays.

Here are plants today. I uped the nutrients and they have been doing well so far with so signs of changes in past 2 res. changes/increases.

What is thoughts on when to start flowering? What’s the factors you consider?

@PharmerBob @neofirebird @HappyHydroGrower @Not2SureYet @Nicky

Some curling on these but no others. They were pressed up against tent so adjusted. So wasn’t working too much about it

I think after 5 or 6 weeks of veg, they should be mature enough to flower.

Plants will usually start alternating their growing pattern when mature enough.

Plants are looking great! :+1:t2::sunglasses:

Im way past that in veg but had a slower start.
What do you mean alternate growth pattern?

When they are young, leaves and bud sites come out evenly on each side of the stalk. When they get mature they start alternating their leaf structure.

Ill have to go take a look. From what you can see do i seem close to starting flowering?

Next time some earlier defoliation would’ve created more bud sites and helped maximize your grow :grin::v:

WHats that mean?

I guess i thought it was too soon to remove some of the leaves so I let it be…is there anything i should do now to help that

I think what he means if you defol a little when they are young, a leaf or two or three / couple you open up bud sites to get light which helps produce more buds. It’ll all come in time.

Height is the only factor right now to consider as far as I’m concerned.
Expect 50% stretch + you need 15" from plant top to lights.

Do i look far from starting flowering?
