Suggestions for this plant

Ditto here, I let it swing through a range but my pH drops over time rather than rising.

So here are plants today looks like there are changes to 2 of them. They are all getting same amount of solution
pH has been managed around 5.8-6.3
Ppm is 480 now but I’m not seeing any drop in ppm. Do I worry plants aren’t getting enough or are they too small to take in a lot of nutrients??
Temp 68 room and humidity in 50s.

All looks good! Don’t sweat that last leaf tip either they look happy

What he said. :point_up_2: PPM’s should remain about the same as the water level goes down (roughly).

They are still young. They’ll grow.

Grape ape look fabulous. The others just seem to have such sudden changes I was worried :worried:

Has your pH fluctuated?

Minimally. I have adjusted it the past 2 days but today it’s maintaining at about 6.3

Okay so I was able to do another reservoir change with y’all’s advice.
Added silica and got pH of 11 and ppm 40
Added pH down to 6.1 ppm 49
Added calmag pH 6 ppm 280
Added nutrients pH 5.7 and ppm 420 :sunglasses:
Feeding the girls now…
Hopefully this will help them. Still worried ! Maybe over next few days there will be improvement.

What strength of silica is recommended. I used a bit above mild strength ? And nutrients I’m doing at the full dose recommended for seedling

I don’t use silica until flower, the burnt growth will never return. Look to new growth to see change your looking for

I use silica at your growth I’d recommend 2ml per gallon.

So did I over water?
Finally put timer on schedule but since can only do 15 min increments it’s got more than normal. Got 2 watering and just took break from water to them looking like this all sad. And pH is 6.1 up from 5.8 where it stayed for the few hours I kept checking on it.

In looking closer at your pics in confused. Looks like grow bags with hydroton all sitting together in a big tub with some solution.?? I’ve only done DWC bucket hydro, not sure what’s up with this method.:disappointed::thinking: I get the roots can reach moisture but unless you’ve got airated solution they’re sitting in with an air gap. I can see where this would cause troubles at this point - unless I’m really high and missed something :man_shrugging::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye::thinking::grin:

The table gets flooded periodically then drains so roots are not constantly sitting in solution.

Yeah I recall that part but do the roots just sit in hydroton in those grow bags? I would think you’d be limited by the roots that way?

This was my last (first) grow. Yes they do just sit in there.

I don’t know any better lol it just seemed to have worked. Are you saying there should be more space for roots?

No not more space for roots that looks surprisingly good to me. My roots only go through a couple inches of hydroton then into about three gallons of airated solution the roots will and can get bigger with the extra room.

I will be trying that method soon too. Nice plants! Mine grew so tall I gotta try and keep them lower this round.

Incorporate some LST training that’ll help with height and stretch
