Thanks @Paranorman…but do you think I should feed at all with the soil I made… Or would I be better off making tea with the dry ferts I have such as bat guano 0-5-0…blood meal 12-0-0…earthworm casings…the ones I mixed the soil with
A lot of variables there I’m unfamiliar with so I can’t answer that my friend but there’s others here who hopefully can
I use FF Ocean Forest which they say is a hot mix. I’ve gone 3-5 weeks without feeding anything and still having vigorous growth so I think it also kind of depends on the plant
Thanks buddy!!
Ok guys this is what I woke up to earlier today not sure if it’s an issue or if it’s possible to have color change already with low temps at night here is a pic of the plant in question it’s a strawberry kush and sprouted a couple weeks ago
The leaves are looking a bit raggity to me but I’m trying to keep the temps low at night around 65 or these lowest I think had been 62…please some insight!!!
if you are dropping temps in an attempt to bring out colours there is little need until your plant enters flower pre-flower stage in veg you want to keep her as happy as possible for a a very young plant that’s in the 70’s
Thanks @Donaldj I will attempt to keep her warmer at night… There in my room with me and I need it cold in there in order for me to sleep so I’ll throw a blanket over the tent at night before I go to bed… Think that will work?
Update!! Transfered the white widow into her final hone… Had roots coming out of the bottom…
The two strawberry kush are still one pot away from final home…
All are now transplanted in their final homes obviously I ran out of big pots so I went with the best thing I had…milk jug…haha oh well we will see what happens maybe I’ll go get another pot and trans that one one more time… Funds are non existent at the moment… And I topped my white widow… There was like no stress so I went with It…
First feed today for the white widow lady… Holy crap did she love it!!! Just hours after feed and I can see a difference!!!
Quick question though… After some thought… Should I not do a scrog this time due to the two different strains and the different planting times… The timing isn’t all that far off by like a couple days to a week…but is that enough difference to cause issues when attempting to fill the screen and flip to 12-12?
Sorry forgot to note how much and what I fed… Fox farm grow big 1/4 teaspoon for 1/2 gallon and 1/2 teaspoon of fox farm big bloom for 1/2 gallon…
BTW… With each strain there is a mutation in the leaf brachs…is that just from the constant breading? IDK if you can really see from the picture but just a question…
Any ideas on why my white widow looks like this…
Problem pointing to the bottom leaves pointing downward… And the new growth is pailer than usual…
Update this is the white widow today after I super cropped her… And it looks like I have another set of branches where I topped her is that what happens when you fim???
Update… Today I fed this strawberry kush 1/2 tsp grow big and1 tsp of big bloom
It might be a bit early for blooming nutrients. They generally have less of the food the plant needs for vegging. For soil questions like yours I think @garrigan is pretty into that area. For sure, I would go with less is more until I was certain I needed more food.
Thank you for you insight…and it’s not really a bloom nute it’s Fox farms big bloom npk of. 01-.03-.07…says safe to use throughout grow and it’s only Earthworm castings and bat guano organic as well…
