Strange leaf activity

Okay so I noticed this on the leaves about a week ago isn’t getting worse isn’t getting better maybe damage done maybe nothing to worry about. Looks as if it’s two different things one looks like it might be either in the foreign belief or a bug got it

The other one is kind of weird and I seen it on a couple of other plants that I have it’s basically a fading of the pigment (for a lack of better terms) on the leaves doesn’t look as if there’s any yellowing at all but you’ll see slight fading throughout the leaves where it’s fading lighter green.

I inspected the plants under 10 times magnification for bugs or any other abnormalities I didn’t see anything obvious.

There’s been no climate changing temperature/relative humidity/air flow etc…

I decided to make the post anyway just as a precaution you just never know it could be lupus or diabetes or something. Whatcha think?

Here’s the other plant seems to have the same discoloration slightly faded to Gray or whitish looks like it might even be on the newer leaves that came out as well but I can’t be 100% sure of that

I don’t think you have anything to worry about, I’m a newbie but I had something similar happen to me, and I think it was because of when I first began watering with nutes I got some some water on the leaves which may have cause the spot burn

I used to miss them at nights so there is a chance it could have been water

It’s either from the fan, or from when they form. The serrated tips poke and stab the leaves when they begin to develop.

I did just see the misting part, and that can cause the blemishes. They’re big enough now that, unless foliar feeding, misting is unnecessary.

@Borderryan22 I’ve never experienced windburn on a leaf before so not sure what it looks like. However I fall along those same exact lines this morning and position them differently so they get slightly less fan. I do have an oscillating fan at the top of the tent on low hitting the entire crop just to keep the leaves moving every sweep and I have a bottom fan that oscillates across the floor just to keep good air flow throughout the tent and I also in the back of the tent have an open bent with a fan blowing in to bring fresh air.

And yes I have discontinued misting all of the plants as they are big enough to not get a mist. I like to push my plants for watering when the soil looks dry I’ll miss the top around the plant stem and hit them with their feeding in the morning when the lights come on.

Also when they were younger I had the light a few inches down further to accommodate for an older plant since then I have moved it up making sure everyone gets just enough light but not too much. I hate freezing plants at different stages under the same light. It’s very challenging

I just posted on your other thread…
It looks like it could be bug issues…
You need higher magnification…
30x to 60x magnification to see them little sob’s …
You have to look super close…
But it all sure looks suspicious

(Broad russet mites) maybe , or in that family of mites…
Just look over everything really good :+1:
:v:t4: :sunglasses:

@peachfuzz thanks bud see my response in the other form. That powdery substance is me playing in the soil squishing Pearl light turning at the powder it’s a bad habit. As stated in the other reply you got one damn good eye

Could also be hard water mineral dust from the ultrasonic humidifier

The pic with a circle on it (second pic, first post) looks like normal wear and tear. You would be surprised how much a plant moves on its own throughout the day. Add a fan or 2 to the mix and you get even more movement.

I don’t see anything to worry about.

The following video shows how much a plant actually moves on its own.

@MidwestGuy Thanks friend. She’s been going through a little daily stress as much as the next one would. Thanks for checking it out

I think they look good. Your gonna see some leaf in normalities though out your grow some are wear some are not. I wouldnt worry too much at those spots and such. If your exhaust fan in on too high you can get too much air movement. I did it when i first got my tent for indoors. Its a beautiful dance between air flow, light and temps and humidity. Honestly, its all about experiance. As you grow so will your plant knowledge. Stick around here and do as much reading as you can. :v:
