I’m looking to try a sea of green. If you’ve got a suggestion of a strain that has a high THC content and has the fattest Main cola please let me know. Submit pics if possible and I’ll be growing only ilgm strains. Thank you in advance
If your P is low in flowering the colas won’t fatten up, it’s mostly determined on what you’re feeding them during flower cycle, too high N and too low P will give you disastrous results. Marijuana is the most finicky plant alive when it comes to flowering.

From what I’ve read, strains that are sativa dominant are good for SOG. I guess the Indicas like to throw out heavy side branches. I will be doing an indoor sea of green and am debating on strain choice as well.

You are absolutely right. I use the Lucas Formula in bubblers so I’ll be using koolbloom bulking formula from General hydro during flowering. It’s high in P and K and doesn’t have any N in it. With proper nutrients any plant will grow to its potential. The potential is what is determined by the plants genetics and the reason I asked what strains others have been getting their largest colas from.
The highest calyx to leaf ratio with fat colas I’ve seen was NY-Diesel back in the 90’s, I don’t know if it’s still around. The yield wasn’t anything to write home about but the colas were stacked one on top of the other like a string of pearls!
