Lots of us WNY growers here. I live close to the rez and signs are popping up all over. People iknow have bought and said it is ok. Especially for 100.00 zip. But, they did say it is so much different than our grows. It must be the added hemp they told me. Lol

It’s crazy how the plants start to mimic the autumn foliage… I making my own apple cider and growing my own weed. I’ve never been so happy to live in western New York, in my whole entire life and the Buffalo Bills are going to go to the goddamn Super Bowl.:joy::joy::joy::joy:

Just because you might not HAVE to give it nutes, doesnt mean the plants don’t appreciate that extra food and rewards you by giving more branches, more buds, bigger buds etc.

I can technically get by with not much food at all.
When I have a balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner I can achieve way more because I have the energy to do it

I agree that we probably don’t need all the nutes that we use. Ffs we water to 20% runoff. I know why we do but it’s almost like take 20% and throw it down the drain.
But at the same time maybe I’m getting bigger stickier buds because i do use them.
I can lift weights and get muscle but if i use steroids id get better results kind of thing
(Minus the steriods are not healthy part of course)

I’m just trying to convey that blindly going by a nutrient schedule can cause more problems and issues than under feeding. I learned over the years that I wait now for the plant to tell me what she needs before I start going nutrient heavy. I’ve been experimenting with mimicking drought cycles like plant would normally go through to see if I can strengthen the THC Content. Drought is a part of the cannabis plants life. i’m going to start a new text thread and see if people have actually tried to mimic drought conditions with their cannabis plants and see if it strengthen the THC content.

Hell yeah brother they seem solid over there. It’s very close to me. I use the Strawberry Fields bro I plant directly in that strawberry fields and I swear to God the plants don’t need anything until the very end and that’s only if you want to keep them from fading out. Yeah brother I love that place we’re all gonna have to get together in trade genetics. Eventually I’ve got some friends with good genetics. lol

Lets Go peace and love…. Next we’re going to legalize psilocybin.

They do fine and its 50-60 degrees, cold, in Buffalo end of summer temperatures.… I’m squeezing the rest out of the season these sunny days.:face_with_monocle:. I mean they just grow like nuts and it’s 50° out and they are growing like crazy…… and turning purple……

Maybe I missed it, but I didn’t see where you mentioned your water? If you have not needed nutrients with that soil, I am betting that you have some very good well water.

I’ve got 2 plants outside still that I have done the same with for the last month or so. I call it neglect  The weather in Vancouver area is usually crap from end of September onwards, so I took some cuttings off of one and thought they would drown in our fall rains. Figured why spend effort and money on nutes for plants that might at best produce larf. But we haven’t had rain since early July, and these might actually make it to the end of the month! Totally unheard of for our area!

Well water should NEVER include NPK. If it is extremely hard water it might include calcium. Or maybe arsenic.

Yeah, calcium and magnesium is where I was coming from. I have had some very good well water in the past. Now we are on a public source, and it has chlorine and fluoride added to it. So I do the RO thing.
