Exactly @bob31 , is spot on because the footprint is really where you may need another light so you have more length and width… @Onlythebest79
They say 3x3 at 18 inches… Which may be generous?
exactly @Zombo We had a lengthy discussion her last winter about getting a par or lux meter (i forget which now) but the jest was that you are better off with 3 smaller lights than one large light because the footprint is so much greater
It says it covers a foot print of 3x3 which is 9sqft and my tent is 4x2 which is 8sqft.
@bob31, yes… I understand that so much more now that I bought 1 900 watt but saw that it would not cover the length and width I may need if I was to grow more than 2 plants… Great point made
Guess what! @Zombo

I have 1 900 watt led in my 4x4 tent… Only growing 2 plants but if I was to go with 4 plants I may need more lights, so instead of getting another 900, I may get 2 600 watts to add so my footprint is larger… Seems to be what folks are doing @Onlythebest79
Now the demensions of the light itself are 13"x15"x3" and I add another 300w which is 13"x8"x3" to daisy chain. Would that cover my footprint of 4x2x5 tent? Here are pics of the 2 lights
Just want to make sure I have enough and my foot print is covered that’s all
@Onlythebest79, I think that would work, refresh my brain, how many plants are you doing in the tent?..you can add that light and then purchase another down the road… If they are daisy chainable( not sure if that a word?)
It’s a word to me and let’s send it to Webster to add to the dictionary. But once I harvest my first 2 beans in 2 to 3 weeks I will have one tent 4x2x6 with a meizhi 1200w and 2 WWA and I will have a tent 4x2x5 with a meizhi 600w and adding a meizhi 300w with 2 WWA.

Been reading about CO2 being added to gardens have any of you tried this and if you have. Have you heard of this product it’s a natural CO2 maker
Here’s a photo of one of the tops of my babies
@Onlythebest79, I have not used any CO2 products… Not sure if they have that much of an effect but the people that I’ve seen use them have tanks with regulators And such?.. Also I think the environment has to be really dialed in for them to work but I have never used… Interested if they do in fact work though
I don’t use that either but I think a few people on here do. Plants are looking nice tho!![]()
I use a propane CO2 generator… ![]()
I don’t have much faith in those organic co2 generators … not because I don’t think they work… they just won’t fulfill my needs… ![]()
If your doing a tent grow with a 4x8x8 tent grow with 12 plants , it would be towards the bottom end of what you might get a benefit from , if at all… ![]()
I think they are more for a 2x4x6 or 2x2x4 or a 4x4x6 tent , to get any benefit… ![]()
I know some people that luv them for there needs and have great results … They are in 4x4x6 tents with 6 plants maximum thoe… ![]()
I would suggest that you do more investigation into this issue before you do anything drastic or spend any money… it may not really benefit you in the first place… ![]()
Also some people that I know , love there co2 tanks for there needs… I just can’t rap my head around the expense of that road unless your in a tent , then it might be beneficial for you… ![]()

I’ll jump in hear as well
I have tried a few dyi methods and didn’t see any benefit imo
I also know a few people that use the co2 bag and what not and they swear it helps ?
But I’m with @peachfuzz if your going to do a large tent a tank with a regular set up would be best the initial cost to set up would be an investment but after that just a tank refill
And if doing anything bigger than a tent a proper propane co2 generator is best
all safety needs need to be considered going this route as I’m sure peachfuzz will agree C02 is a deadly gas so think it through
With that said I’ll let peachfuzz take it from here he won’t stear you wrong if you decide to add co2 to your grow

I have a question. from the time you switch to 12/12 we are pretty much looking at 10-12 weeks after that before harvest on photos give or take a week or two? That time frame is including the 2weeks of transition or should I look at more time?
@Onlythebest79… People say the first 2 weeks is a transition into flowering so they don’t count those 2 weeks… From what I’ve read And understand… So you count the flowering weeks, dependent on the strain your growing, from 2 weeks AFTER you flip lights… I flipped on may 8th… But I will count the 9-11 weeks for my strain from may 23… But let the others chime in for sure
