What sort of lights? The babies look good!
I’m using a lux star 2:4 24watt 6500k grow bulbs. I hope these are ok as I’m trying to get my ph level down to 6.25 or 6.3. If my soil has a ph of 7.6 then I need my water ph to be about 5 to 5.5 to get a nice ph average at 6.2 to 6.3. If I’m correct please help me if notnplease help me.
starting my second week of vegetation when’s a good time to top and how long after should I wait to do one more topping? I’ve read to where it’s saying wait till the 4-5th node to do so. Does this sound about right? also how long does vegetation period normally last or should you treat it as vegetation?
Well this starts the third week of vegetation. One of my babies I guess has a deformity with its leaves is this normal. Here’s a pic of her but she’s growing healthy and she’s been topped already.
The other two are growing nicely I think and here’s a pic of the two
Grow has been nothing but fox farm soil and I ph a mixture of spring and distilled water. That’s what I plan to give them all the way through and will update periodically. Have a wonderful Friday

Hey I did a little bit of LST to all my babies and I’m thinking they are liking it. I pulled them to one side of the pot and tied it to side. Exposing more light to the bottom of the plant and pulled some of the fan leaves out of the way or opposite directions. They all responded pretty good and it’s really good for it so I heard. They are not even a month old yet the 29th will be a month from when I dropped in the water. I feel really good about them as they are bag beans and my first full experiment.
I hope they are females as I have about a week or two before I will be able to tell if they are. Send some of those female vibes over this way I need it and they need. I actually call them my babies and that’s their names. Hope you enjoy any advice is welcome.

Looking really nice! No idea on what strain?
I only smoke real good beans and they all came from some good beans. I have no clue one I think is platinum green crack but don’t get me to lie.

Thanks for the compliments but I see how and why this can be addicting. It’s like raising a baby and you want to be the best parent you can be. I’m wondering have any of you ever sat and put one in the air with your beans? If so what is your choice of smoke with them? Me personally I’m blowing granddaddy purp wit my babies and they seem to be enjoying the quality time I’m spending with them😀
Also I’ve been reading a little more about lights for veg and lights for flower. Can I use my T5 lights I have for the whole grow or is it necessary to have a LED for the flower stage?

If I had to pick a favorite my all time fav as of today would be train wreck I’ve never personally grown it but will soon i the next few grow but not next one lol that will be gold leaf

True true I gotta get the GG I smoked and had before and it was pretty smooth and puts me to sleep. If I had to say my fav is grand daddy purp very relaxing go with the flow buzz. Today I’m gone sit with my babies and blow some train wreck with them in honor of you @Countryboyjvd1971

Happy growing brotherwhen i smoke if I don’t go outside I go to my grow room lol
I have my tents set up in basically a big tent in my basement when I have exhaust fans in all three tents and the grow room itself
Plan on installing a 12 inch inline fan with wall mounted speed controller and ducting to the tents and room so I can eliminate a few motors but need to finish my current grow up first
I’m always improving my set up ? As I’m sure you do too

Yes the grand daddy is something special I must say. Yes I’m constantly improving or trying to make it better. But I ordered a soil PH tester and it came in mail today.

I don’t know about the digital but most of have had nothing but problems with that style where they are accurate enough?
For moisture they work well ?
I picked up a back up set on Amazon last week for 23$ it came with both ph and TDS meter and calibration powder for the ph meter ? I’ll post info later if you’d like

I was over a friends house last night and do you know he gifted me two Gorilla Glue beans. He got them out of some gorilla glue he has now to put to the test and germinate hoping for girls as these are bag seeds.

Got a question for you. I’m on a 18/6 light/dark time schedule and I was reading in another post some people have been switching 14/10 light/dark a week or two before switching to 12/12. Any real benefits to this or does it pertain to certain seeds( female or auto)? I might try this the last week or two of veg as today the 29th made a month from dropping in water. Here they are as of today.
Remember again I’m only using foxfarm soil and water PHed to 6.5.
