Make sure you get a connector for the power cord to hook up to the A/C side. Although wago connectors work, I like to use something a little more stout for the high voltage side.

Hey @dbrn32 I’ve seen a lot of new people on lately. There all asking for advice before getting started or ordering there grow equipment. Number one questions I see are soil and lights. And most are looking at the Blurple lights. I know there’s a lot of individual light builds on people’s threads. What about starting one thread called “don’t buy the blurple- DIY light builds” and just have everyone put there builds in one big post. That way we can direct to one post instead of trying to tag everyone who built a light. Different builds with different prices for every size tent that people have already done. Do we already have something like this? There’s been a lot of light builds lately. Be cool to just scroll through one thread and pick a build that fits your needs.
This is a great thread with lots, lots, lots of info.
but I like your idea of a thread with all the builds. It might be easier for others to look through before buying
Haha
Build don’t Blurpie
Yea that DIY thread is golden but hella clusterd. Maybe a solid idea TX
You mean you want a thread that has nothing but posts about diy light builds?
I agree. Wasn’t a big deal when there was only a handful of us doing it. Now it’s pretty long and time consuming.
Well Dr DB. You wanna do the honors? Or just chime in with ‘-this message id DB approved’
Yes. A thread just for us to put our builds on.
Like basically shopping for a build. You can just scroll through one thread look through builds and find one that fits your space.
I don’t have any issue with it. I’m just trying to make sure we get exactly what is desired here.
I see some value in having nothing but posts showing light builds and keeping it clutter free. I want members to be able to ask questions relevant to each build though too. I think I have a way to do it, but I would prefer to let it marinate a bit.
Even if we can start the thread with every build we have so far. Questions are definitely a must. Just keep the thread builds and build questions only.
