Stand for the pot

Hi, I’ve been growing my plant on top of an object to make sure my light was at an ideal height but I was wondering when I should drop it on the floor? I’m not sure if I should have just grew it on the floor since the start of the grow but it’s been growing fine so far.

Why not lower the light Growmie :love_you_gesture:

What size pot is that?

I don’t think the pot being on the floor makes any difference whatsoever. Eventually, the girl will get much bigger (hopefully) then the floor becomes the only option as a plant can get as big as 6 ft in your tent.

Nevertheless, as long as she’s getting sufficient lighting and the canopy is at an adequate height to the light what your plant sits on or doesn’t sit on makes no difference.

BTW, good job on your training!

My light will only go so far down so I wanted to make sure my plant was big enough so that the top of the canopy would be at the ideal height when I lower my light.

I’m not entirely sure what size pot it is I think it might be a 14in but I’m not sure. Thank you for answering my question because my light will only lower so far and I wanted to make sure I wasn’t messing my grow up at all. I’m trying to learn as much as a can from my first grow to improve upon my next grow. Also thank you for complimenting my training I’ve been getting better the more I train it.

If you run out of room milk crates are the answer.

No problem raising the plant. I do it sometimes if one plant is shorter than the rest… so I have an even canopy. Also helps with your back not having to bend over.

Most growers use something like this to hang our lights so we can move the light up and down easily as the plant grows.
