Spudgunner's Clone Grow

NICE :+1: I hope you have help come harvest time, That’s going to be a lot of work. My back is screwed up also & I mix my medium on a table so I don’t have to bend over. Great work brother :+1:

Thanks @Brainsacco1 appreciate the words! I’m cramped for space in the garage…my daughter has stuff stored in there and my son has a ton of crap in there too, as do I. Wife wants to park in there once son and his wife leave and clean most of it out! Imagine, putting a car in the garage! That will makes things even tighter, definitely no room for a table, so it’s sit on a chair and mix stuff up in 5 gallon pail (my 15 gallon huge pail is filled with sand for the grandkid’s sand box!).

The harvests should be staggered…outside first, then the cellar dwellers, finally the tent ladies. I don’t bother with an immaculate trim job, usually a wet trim, hang, then snip off any big and medium leaves and any dead crap, usually 1/2 hour per plant. So the cellar dwellers will be 7 hours total, but I don’t have to cut them all down at once!

But no, I have no help, wife doesn’t partake and neither do my kids. My hobby, I do all the work but then I reap the rewards!

Lol, I started doing the same as you, as far as trimming goes. I put about an oz at a time in a brown paper bag & get a handful & roll them around in both hands. It manicures it pretty good that way. Unless of course there are a lot of sugar leaves, if there is then you’ll get the ones you don’t want mixed in w the sugar trim. I’m pretty stoned right now lol I hope that makes sense & it helps you  I absolutely hate trimming lol. I have some Dutch crunch seeds that I haven’t grown yet but the leaf to caylyx ratio is pretty good & I’ll be growing some of them on my next run. So trimming them will be pretty easy. Have a good brother & thanks for the tag! :love_you_gesture:

So on Tuesday I stopped by my SIL’s dad’s place to check out the 2 Sleepy Joe clones I gave him. Nice looking plants! Over 6 foot tall!

They are just starting to flower, probably a week or 2 behind mine. Which sux, his dad said they have to come down by mid-October. I told him they are more than 5 weeks to finish, but I think they have a drop-dead date. Kinda funny, his old man doesn’t really smoke much as he finds weed too racy and paranoid! Told him it’s because it’s not ready when he harvests it! Don’t think it’ll make a difference, but maybe he’ll let it go longer if his son chops for him.

Anyways, my indoor update time! So I up-potted 4 into the autopots on Saturday. They’ve gone thru 4 gallons of food in the same period the other 13 went thru 4 gallons! Those autopots just make them drink!

Sept 7th

Sept 12th

Hoping they make it to the endo of the month before I have to flip them!

The cellar-dwellers will probably get flipped Saturday evening…lights will go on at 6am, then around noon I’ll reset the timer to 9am-9pm, Saturday will be a 15 hour day, then 12/12 from then out.

Sept 7th

Sept 12th

I’ll go out and take pics of the outdoor “legal” 4 later. They aren’t as big as the SIL’s, but they should finish at least! Stacking nicely!

Happy growing!

As promised, here are pics of my outside 4 ladies. They are coming along! Hoping these will be finished mid to late October. Pics in same order as last outdoors pics, left to right.

Left-most Sleepy Joe, the runt!

The bigger SJ, hoping this forms into one big cola!

Polyploid SJ, normal branch followed by thin wispy branch.

And last, the CBD Mighty Quin.

These ladies are still getting fed the MegaCrop along with PK Booster from same company. They seem to be liking it!

Sheba is getting bigger, just over 9 months, weighs about 80 lbs now. Still loves everybody and everything!

Can see my little garden behind her ever-watching eyes!

Hope everyone is having a good day today! Thursday, right?

Pretty doggie… thise are some big plants. I grow inside my house, inside a tent. I can’t wait until my state goes green. Then i can grow outdoors and the neighbors can then kick rocks …

Start “shaping” your outdoor yard grow area.
Find your spot and build concealment (or visual distortions).
Legal is the most important factor, for safe growing.
Secure or Hidden comes next.

My outdoor plants are between 3 and 4 feet tall only. But too big to fit back in the tent if it starts raining! Last year when we came back from Sri Lanka, I tok my Medgom and put it back in the tent early Oct to mid Nov to finish, but this year the tent is full and could only fit one of these in anyways!

Even before it was legal here, cops wouldn’t waste their time on small grow ops, too worried about harsher drug and the crime it brings. They wouldn’t even raid the dispensaries on Main Street openly selling weed!

It will be on a 2nd story deck with entrance only through the front of the house. They would have to climb up to get to them but i will catch them if i have to sleep in a tent out there myself or sleeping bag for that matter. I’ll hit em in the head.

It would be interesting to see Sri Lanka for sure.
Sounds like the police are trained properly over there. Here… pfffft… go shite in your hands and hope for the best…they shoot you in the back around here.

I am envious.
This lady get less than 2 hours of sunlight (and 11 ambient, currently).
What could she do in full, 150Klux sunlight?

At least, i learned the Clone Farm loves it.

Good, with bad, just like my life.

I hear you…

Ya I love cloning, but I’m letting this strain end here. I’ll have run 22 of the Sleepy Joe by the time I finish the tent and cellar-dwellers and outsiders. I still have seeds so I can start it again in a couple years. Time for something new! Which after an auto run, maybe another photo or 2, which I’m sure I’ll clone the hell outta it before I get tired of that strain!

Completely agree, what do you attribute the late start to the outdoor flowering? I’m down in and and I start to get pistols on my outdoor the 1st wk of Aug so by this point we’re stacking pretty nicely for a Crop-rover finish. His plants look like a mid Nov finish possibly. Might as well just see what nature throws at them. I’ve used large trash bags doubled at night to avoid the bite of frost, cold is manageable.

We don’t go below 14 hr/day of daylight until mid August, and then it’s only 3 minutes a day less each. His plants are also southern facing with early morning and late day sunlight. Mine are in the shade of a cedar hedge first thing and from about 4pm onwards, so less light where I have mine planted.

Our issue here, as @DEEPDIVERDAVE will attest, is the “atmospheric rivers” we get in late September thru to November. It’s not your large swirling mass of moisture, big low pressure system weather, it looks more like a wide jetstream of warm wet air that dumps like 3 inches in 24 hours, sometimes for a couple of days! I can always move my plants under the hot tub gazebo so they stay somewhat dry (my neighbours dragged my Medgom under there last year when we were in Sri Lanka), but his will get battered and bud rot.

Funny, talked to his old man the other day. He doesn’t smoke much as he says it makes his a little paranoid. I laughed and told him it’s because of not-ready weed! Explained trichs to him but he’s still adamant that they come down early October.

Cool mornings leave wet and damp on everything.
But they grow. (unlike my 1970-80 experiences).

@MartyMarajuanaseed Here are my ladies today. Let’s start with the 13 in the cellar. I flipped these last Saturday/Sunday. And I’m flipping the tent ladies today/tomorrow as well! Instead of on 6am, off midnight, today they went on at 6am off 9pm, tomorrow morning they go 9am to 9pm (just reset the timer after 9am in the morning).

Anyways, here are the 13. Ya, someone told my I’d be in trouble with 13, and I said I could fit 25 in there if I had to. Well, having a helluva time with the 13! A real PITA to feed them now, and it’ll only get worse! @Jaysittinback does your buddy in Langley grow? These are in stretch, if he wants a few of them…

These are about 2 foot tall now in their 1 gallon pots.

And the tent ladies! These 4 in autopots are about 3 foot tall, and MUCH wider!

Explosive growth when using autopots with airdomes

So the tent ladies are being fed Advanced Nutrients in autopots, while the cellar dwellers are getting MegaCrop and PK Booster hand fed, about 500ml (2 cups) every couple of days. The 4 tent ladies are drinking more than the 13 cellar dwellers, the ProMix is moist constantly in the autopots and they love it! Just go back up to the Sept 12th pics to see the difference!

YUP.
So much work and so many plants.
Imagine that, I feel the same pain, just on a smaller scale.
