I always suspected that weed that smells way too good to be true. A few hits and your stoned all day. I probably smoked it more times than I know. Someone gave me some that he got from a delivery service. Looks pretty weird.
Illicit large-scale growers are spraying flower they sell with synthetic cannabinoids from China to make the product more appealing.
I’ve come across it twice with street weed. The first was weed that had been tainted with some kind of psychedelic drug and the second just made me sick to my stomach in a bad way.

The psychedelic experience was a flat-out bizarre one. It as was if my thinking was in slow motion and I could visualize my thoughts as boxes floating in space. As a new thought would appear, a new box would appear. The more important the thought, the bigger the box was. If I was thinking about more than one thing at a time, then the 2 boxes from the 2 thoughts would intersect in space. Once a thought went away, the box associated with the thought would disappear.
It looks like, especially the one on top, some Delta 8 garbage. A friend of my son gave him some and he showed it to me. Green and artificial looking.
This is GDP bagged in June 2022. A little beat up and lots of heads have broke off but no doubt it is the real deal
I see this stuff and it scares the shit out of me.
Been pretty much self sufficient the last 15 years so haven’t had to buy much.
And if I did then it usually came from a gro bro I trusted.
Just makes me appreciate what I grow even more.

Both buds pictured in my hand are fake! I think the top one is hemp and the bottom one is something low grade or old and moldy sprayed to smell “killer”. I remember you had to be careful your weed wasn’t dusted with PCP. It turned out that no one was trying to sell it to you, but you might get a laced joint passed to you at a Dead show.
Here’s what got me started down the rabbit hole. Four guys were caught smuggling a truckload of MJ that turned out to be hemp, so they had to let them go. Look at these guys with the criminal records. They are not bringing it to a church to knit sweaters for the homeless. And then there’s the internet. Why do they sell terpenes with all the weed names you’ve heard. Why would you spend 3,000 for a gallon of “Train Wreck” terpenes? And then there’s HHC. It mimics THC but it’s way more powerful and long lasting. Here’s some other signs you bought bunk, Hard or sticky buds that leave a lot of residues in the bag. Buds that won’t burn completely or turn black keep burning after you tap it out. Does it flame up when you finish pulling on a hit? Can you see little sparks when you light it? Is it noisy? Does it crackle? You saw what it looks like under a microscope. I gave my friend a jar of mine and he threw his crap away. I had to apologize for ruining his world, but he was thankful at the same time.

Who ever thought they would do that to flowers? My friends source wanted to know what the heck is going on, so he brought over 6 samples. One was definitely garbage. Four were highly suspicious. The other one looked fine. “That’s from somewhere else” he told us. He told his guy, and he had no idea. I’m not blaming everyone involved because I was tricked too. What I did notice on the fake stuff is this. The make believe trichomes are stacked on top of each other and are not attached to the plant. Also, there may be a few whole trichomes, but very few. There should be no square edges on so called “chrystals”. Out of curiosity, we took a normal flower and rolled it around in baking soda and took a look. It looked like the fake stuff. I’m so glad I know who’s growing mine. Me.
Midwest guy, Your psychedelic experience sound very similar to what my father kept describing just before died. He would wake up and start describing a dream he just had about a box that he needed to get something out of but when he would open it another box would appear on the other side of the room. I wonder if you had a near death experience. Or you smoked DMT.
We don’t know for sure, but some scientists believe that the near-death experience is the result of the body dumping DMT into the system. DMT is produced naturally by the human body, but in extremely low doses.
I didn’t meet the DMT elves, so it must have been something else. Maybe LSD.
I’ve never tried it. I was shocked when I saw Mike Tyson talking about his DMT trip openly. Is it one of those things that’s new and there’s no laws to take the fun away yet?
I think the joke was that “everyone is holding”. no matter who you are. It’s already in you.
60 bucks an O right to the mailbox is too good to be true. I cant get a clear pic but looks like the top bud in your hand. Really smooth and well manicured (the buds 
) stink like crazy and too “dusty” but potent. Smells like orange drink crystals, a big nosefull of them. Guess what same story a friend gave it to me only I traded some homegrown. Now we know better 
yep, I’m done with buying. I kinda dropped the subject and stopped pressing the issue. It was getting too far up the supply chain and getting people really mad. I don’t want to be “sleeping with the fishes” just smoke your own.
