Iam using fosilized bat guano 0-7-0 only for the phosphorus in flowering stage…
Again, very lightly, 2 tbl spoons for 5 gal pot. or 1 cup to outdoor hole…once only…just work it into soil and forget it…

Just now seeing this. Lots of good advice! Starting to think I can’t grow squat! Not giving up though! Gonna order me some autos and give it one more try outdoors this year.

Came back to this thread hoping some of y’all could give me some advice.

I have some Durban Poison out in a cutover that I dug holes and put just Walmart organic potting soil in. I guess my biggest problem is I can’t make routine trips out there to feed like needs be and I guess I failed from the get go by not giving them the best medium for growing.
Could y’all suggest some type of nutes that would fill in the gaps. Getting lots of rain here, they just need food. Probably been a little over a week since the last time I saw them.

Get a bag of bat guano, kelp meal and earthworm castings, mix it all together and work it to the soil around your plants…I would use 2-3 gal of this mix per each plant…that will get you all the way to finish, no worries
This is much better solution for you than use of any nutes coctsils , they are flushed out of soil too quickly…@beans

Thanks bud! One more semi-stupid question. I live in a pretty rural area. Where would ya get all that? Online?
I saw a recipie for a super soil once and most of the stuff on there I knew wouldn’t be found at Wally World!

Try feed store or online for sure…

You can get all that online, But… ya really need to start with a good grow medium, All my plants got washed out and drowned over 2 1/2 days of rain, completely flooded the area, came back from a fishing trip to find my plants under a foot of water. So… I start all over and with only 90-100 days to make a grow I gotta do my best to start them happy, I amend my soil with a lot of local organics I obtain from local marshes, especially the decomposed plant material found on or near shore, mix that in with FFOF and local soil to make a super soil, forest peat is also in the mix. You hardly need any or much nutes when planting outside until the last 3 weeks or so.

In addition, I would throw in a bunch of worms. Living rural, they should be easy to find. Mix in enough organic matter to keep them there and happy.

Whenever you return, bring them more food…
