I’m in California and started a few weeks ago from seed. I planted spinach and bibs Greenleaf lettuce, mixed fancy red leaf lettuce, pink lady slipper radishes and Champion radishes in the above ground table. I have carrots sprouted from seed that just came up the other day and tomatoes that are also about 3 weeks old grown from seed indoors and eggplants too
And I have two Auto flowers that are going outside in 5 gallon fabric pots, Mexican Airlines, a hybrid of Colombian red hair and Mexican red hair. Sounds like a nice ride.

Yesterday I set up my early girl bush and Cherokee purple tomatoes to germinate and my cucumbers I ordered some lemon boy tomato seeds that im waiting on in the mail then I’ll germinate those and the pumpkins
I’m going to spend a small fortune on tomato cages that are big enough at home depot I also need some other gardening equipment and im sure ill need another bag of soil
Its a full house 4 Cherokee purple tomatoes and 4 early girl bush tomatoes added in and I’m still waiting on my lemon boy tomatoes to pop I just set them for germination yesterday
Started 4 different tomatoes, 2 different colored cherry, 1 Ukranian Ox Heart style fruit is supposed to be between 1-3 pounds for each tomato, and then an improved Roma Paste style tomato. 2 different colored bell peppers, a few hot peppers. 6 Swiss Chard, snap peas, zucchini, chives, green onions, and a ton of different herbs. Everything was put in the ground from seedlings on 3/25/25. I just received in the mail my Pinquito beans that will go in this weekend. They are a specialty bean that is only commercially grown in Central California, used for Santa Maria style BBQ’s. Those should go in this weekend. I’m still waiting for my 5 different seed potato types to get here. Doing those in 10-gallon fabric bags, will be my second potato grow. And even though it doesn’t apply here, got 6 MJ seedlings, seeds from here on ILGM, that I started from seeds. I’m in SoCal. Happy Vegetable growing season all.
Got started growing in the greenhouse in January with some radishes, scarlet kale, spinach and cilantro. Started seeds for three kinds of tomatoes, bell peppers and Anaheim chile peppers. In zone 8, so we can start a little early. At this point I’ve got taters starting to come up, tomatoes are in place and filling out, peppers are looking good. I’ve got garlic and onions scattered in between and around the taters and peppers and they are all going well. In addition, we have all the usual suspects, radishes, carrots, string beans, cucumbers, zucchini, etc. I’m packing a lot into my little 20 by 20 grow space. I’ve put a lot of effort into improving my soil for this season and looking forward to seeing how it all works out.
I just added this tankless filter set to my watering system in an effort to remove chlorine and other chemicals from the incoming water supply. Every little bit helps improve results, right?

Lol, wow! They really took off. Mine still looked like youngsters when I put them in. Won’t be long before I’m overloading the missus with sauce tomatoes though.
I had volunteer cherry tomatoes coming up last year, and I let a few grow out. They took over toward the end of the season. I had cherry tomatoes until late december when temps dropped and I didn’t get a heater out there in time.
No. I built out a pergola that was in the back yard when we bought the place a few years ago. Greenhouse build was last year’s project.
Well it would be awesome with a party deck on the roof. Ha. Nice looking set up gromie.

Yeah you gotta be careful starting tomatoes inside they’ll take off quick on you the ones I have going are getting ready to do that and they’re only going on about 3 weeks from germination they’re going outside on sunday yesterday should have been the last frost for my area it shouldn’t go below the low 40s at night
