I use 50/50 mixture of FF OF and Coco Loco. Which is mostly soil. I just lift pot and judge whether they need water based on weight. On average during later veg they will need water every 3 days. During later flower they may need water every day and a half.

Thanks @Nicky I do intend to make the switch to Coco, just haven’t pulled the trigger yet. I suffer from old man itis, once I find something that works I resist change. LOL

I leaned more towards soil on my first grow,from what I was reading it is a bit more forgiving and I loved the fact that I could get away with watering every 2-3 days but now that I switched to jacks 321 from what I have been reading and learning from everyone promix is the way to go
But I’m thinking of after this 2nd grow I have going I think I’m going to give coco a shot

Lmao same way, I did pull the trigger tho on coco, an so far really diggin it. If we mess up a little overwater, or pH it’s really a simple fix, I do still have muffin in bags just a lil test run with coco

I use Jack’s 321 with my mixture. I usually veg 6-8 weeks. Aside from cal-mag and Tribus I don’t need to start nutrients usually until a week or two into flower. For me that’s a advantage. Based on results I’ve seen promix or coco will give you overall better results. If watering daily isn’t a problem for you then that’s something you should consider.

Nope not today. I do take top canopy ones off daily though. Whenever they have their last day of stretch I’ll make em look like sticks basically compared to now lol

Yup, for a couple reasons.
Does coco have to be watered every day like promix?
I remember you mentioning 30% perlite/coco
I have my seedlings in promix right now can I transplant them in to coco? And use coco for the remaining grow?
Or because Ui started with promix I have to transplant in to promix?

No I dont add anything to my coco. I use Canna Coco bricks. I run pure coco without perlite…it tends to hold moisture better
