Should I start to flush now?

On my 9th week of flowering.(super skunk) Thinking about 2 weeks left. Should I start to flush them and end nutes yet? I’m So close I don’t want to make a rush decision or let it go to long.
Thanks in advance for the advice!

No. The plant should continue to get nutes and it’s no where near ready for a final flush. The white pistils on your plant indicate that you have several weeks to go yet.

You can start thinking about when to flush when the pistils start to brown and recede. I expect you have 5 to 7 weeks to go still.

Nope as she still has a lot of time to finish still. White pistils tell that tale. :+1::+1::+1:

They are 110 days from sprout, About 15 weeks. And they are 59 days(on my 9th week of flowering) it’s says up to 70 days in flower but I knew the hairs was showing at least another couple weeks. I’m not a complete noob but this is my first time working with this much nutes and worrys me about when to end them and going over time to harvest because I always do it too soon. People are telling me if I don’t end the nutes at the right time. My weed will taste like hay. The FF feeding schedule goes to 12 weeks. Should I just keep up with that and end when it does? What do you guys think. (And I love this forum, have had great advice from many of you guys along the way very much appreciated)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but you are being told misinformation.

I feed nutrients till I harvest. I literally mean that. My marijuana don’t smell like hay or taste like it. I fed my last plant in the late morning and pulled her that same day. She smokes smoooooottthhhh.

During the drying process it will smell like wet hay. Properly cured marijuana won’t taste like hay at all.

At least you came here being there is many decades of experienced growers here.

Fox Farm states if you are feeding the 12th week and need more time, just repeat the 12th week till you are finished. :+1::+1::+1:

@MrPeat is correct about nutrients in my opinion. Here’s video that I believe can help you understand about flushing :+1:

My bad. Yea last time I asked. Someone told me 5 or more weeks. But 80%or more of my hairs are turned and tucked into the bud. And mostly all my hairs are white. (I’m shooting for least 30% or more amber) I have microscope but getting clear pics with it has been a issue. I’m soooo scared to over bake them. Lol.

I feel your pain LOL :slightly_smiling_face: But trichome coloration is the best way to judge. I use a USB style microscope and have decided to just clip off a small portion of bud and lay it on a piece of white paper. Some people also rig up a microphone stand to mount their USB microscope to hold it steady.

I wasn’t sure if it was okay to cut some off. I have a tri pod but can’t get close enough. I don’t know if you can see in this picture but this is the best one I could get. I have another scope coming in the mail. Cuz the not knowing is driving me crazy. It’s consuming lmao

you see amber too or am I crazy?

Can’t tell for sure but those pics look like they are leaves and you want to judge buy the bud itself.
Leaves will amber well before the bud does so they give you a false reading.

Thanks. That’s good to know.

Trichomes are where I want them. Started flushing. Today’s flush put the run off at 100ppm, with my fresh water being 25ppm originally.
Should i do one more flush? Or am I good to chop them after my dark days?? Help please!
