Should I kick this autopot section off?

way to early to know and I just purchased some more auto seeds about a month ago but I want to move to all photoperiods I think. seems easier and less trouble not to mention the power savings of a 12 on light period vs an 18 hr light period. i wonder how the autos are easier rumor got started anyway?

My autos all behaved pretty good and I leaned a lot from them but also on my 1st indoor photo run and I don’t really see myself going back to them.

i will end up planting my other auto seeds just because i have them and won’t let them go to waste. it was a mixed pack with bruce banner, gorilla glue and girl scout cookies. can’t wait to try those out because they are something different than the banana kush auto’s i am growing now. well, except for the one photoperiod. it’s from a chocolope seed a nephew gave me.

either way, i have smoke stored up enough now that i don’t ever have to worry about buying black market again and it also gives the added advantage of not feeling like you’re in a rush for the plants to do something. they can take their time, all they want and do what they need to do to be the best they can be.

Yep, it’s nice to not run out! Good luck with that Bruce banner I tried to germ 3 and they all flopped, I’m going to start some of my leftover autos inside and then move them outside in the spring. Can’t grow photos outside here anymore because of a hemp farm about a mile away

sorry about the hemp farm deal. i originally purchased a 10 pack of the banana kush seeds that I am growing now. the first 2 seeds i dropped were the 2 i grew in my first grow. they took off like gang busters. i planted them in there final pot to start with, seeds in root cubes. never soaked them or anything, just seed in the cube and in final grow pot. after that first harvest i put 6 of the seeds in root cubes and had at it again. great, 6 plants in my new 4x4 and i’ll be in cannabis heaven with all of that at harvest time. well, all 6 popped there heads. 3 took off really nice, 1 other was a little slower but 2 of them never grew another centimeter after it got it’s first 2 leaves on it. tried 2 nurse them along but ended up tossing them and planting the last 2 seeds that did make it, although one just wanted to be short and very very bushy. i finally pulled it out and just whacked the crap out of it with the trimming scissors. it just went into flower but still short and bushy as all get out. 1 of the original 3 that did well from the beginning was a totally yellow plant. while she did finally develop some more or less green leaves most of the original yellow leaves are still on top. she is now well into flower and making some nice stacks. i dubbed her ol’ yeller. pics of her are in my second grow journal. but all of that to say in my short lived experience is that these seeds are somewhat of a longshot as to how well they will turn out or even germinate.

@Pinboy did you order those shutoff valves for the auto pots? The ones with the red knobs? All 6 of mine leak and it’s really starting to get on my nerves. They leak from under the red cap.

Other than the banners and a couple mephisto double grapes I’ve had really good luck with the soak, paper towel method. This last germ of jelly photos went 6/7 with 1 not surviving

Yeah those are the ones I got, right from autopotusa. Havnt had any issues at all with them

Same here and every one of them leaks. I’m about to remove them all. It’s very frustrating having to clean up a half gallon of water every day from the tent.

That sucks btw… I feel like I read somewhere about someone with the same problem finding a way to fix them…

At first I thought it was from where the tubing connects to the barb, but I watched it for a couple minutes and the water drips out from under the cap.

I wish I had an extra I would take it apart and try to figure it out… I think I’d be dropping an email to let them know they leak

Only thing I can think of is my reservoir height and it’s causing alof of pressure on them. My reservoir is almost 3ft off the ground.

Well I still haven’t received my warranty replacement valve I asked for over 2 weeks ago where they told me they were really backed up and were working on mailing it out. So I wanted to see how “backed” up they were with orders and I ordered and paid for a new res valve and got it 2 days later. That type of customer service really made me mad and now this issue with the shutoff valves has me irritated beyond belief.

I was thinking the same thing… if you have a valve by the res I wonder if closing it down some will help. Although that may be creating a new problem…

Yeah I thought about that as well. I might just have to order more 1/4" tubing and eliminate the valves from the system.

That sucks. You have the big res too… forget the email I think I would be calling them to see what they say

I’ve shared 5 phone calls with them. Oh and I forgot to mention, the filter fitting that snaps onto the res valve also drip leaks.

What part.
