Absotootinglutely!
I indeed have struggled my first few Grow’s. Obviously I still am lol. I ended up flushing all the seedlings. It’s now a couple of days later and they are looking way better and even had a nice growth spurt. Thank you so much for all of you and your advise. It got me back on track. Hopefully I stay on track.
Watering is my biggest problem as far as not knowing what I’m doing. It’s so hard for me to guess as if they need water or not. I live in Vegas and the humidity is non existent, and they dry out so fast. It’s hard to know when to water.
I typically give just distilled water when I’m not giving nutrients. With that said how often do you give nutrients? There is so much conflicting information out there it’s hard to know what’s right. Location probably has a lot to do with it as well I imaging.
I’ve read it all 5 times now lol. Still processing the information.
Now with the humidity domes I’m actually trying g to figure out a good way to make 1 single plant enclosures for higher humidity levels. Here in Vegas trying to get humidity up above 10% is a damn challenge. I have 3 humidifiers all running in the same tent and it barley sits at 50%.
I do know about droplet burn, but fortunately I have not had this issue yet with any of the grows I have done. Knock on wood. Growing really is a true craft and I appreciate every single one of you.
Thank you ILGM team!
Holy shit 1 pound per plant! Didn’t catch that until I read it for the 6th time lol
A Pound per plant is not easy to do. Especially indoors. Especially until you get you feet underneath you.
The right lights, soil, nutes, pest control, climate control, etc… just shoot for happy, healthy girls with a yeild that makes you smile!
I’m new to growing, so I’ll only speak for myself and the three ILGM White Widow Autos that I’ve grown. I’m also in the SW, albeit in area with a tad bit more humidity than Vegas. The humidity in my grow area has been 20%-25%, and I don’t dome, but my plants, even as seedlings, did great. I never sprayed water on them, as that can cause light burn.
Others with much more experience than me can chime in if they think that your humidity is OK at such and such levels, without too much fanfare on your part.
A bit off-topic, pardon me Quarinteen, but oldmarine what kind of fabric pots do you have in that picture? They look thin as so to allow a lot of oxygen into the soil.
They are quart sized non-woven nursery pots. Seedlings and rooted clones go in them for their first month.
Try to keep the water off of your leaves. They can/will burn under the lights.
