Don’t have Facebook but just googled it.
Hopefully with a dem controlled senate they can get it passed. But it’s gonna take some lobbying

Many currently illegal states will follow if we get Federal legalization.

It would be great to see expungement in the legislation as well. I have a family member who would benefit from expungement.

If it became legal federally it would be just like with hemp. States wouldn’t have a real choice, regardless of their thoughts on the matter. Just like Texas is trying to sue the federal government over the definition of guns and poly 80 bs. States can have their own laws. As long as they don’t try to influence federal law. Since federal law supercedes all other laws. Texas won’t win, but it’s Texas, can’t tell em nothing.

You are so right about the law makers in Texas. :disappointed::disappointed:

I am in a Hemp state, and Out governor has sworn that THC Cannabis will never be legal here.

How did he get elected!? Lol

Keep in mind this is to be a Cannabis discussion and not a political debate, although I see no reason for anyone ot have a negative thought od a debate against the attempt to legalize. This article is only meant to be informative.

Thanks.

in the bill it sez that states could still set their own policies, but its a good begining.

The main features of the legislation largely align with what advocates and stakeholders expected. It would federally deschedule cannabis, expunge prior convictions, allow people to petition for resentencing, maintain the authority of states to set their own marijuana policies and remove collateral consequences like immigration-related penalties for people who’ve been criminalized over the plant.ma

Good info guys. I wanted to share the news and with respect to some ocncerns and keep the peace; I am going ot lock this topic as a reference. I am sure we can share more info in the future as the quest for the deciminalization, which iincluded removal of sentences, and cleaning up of MJ victims records. Quite an effort.

Thanks for replying.
