Quite the coincidence that this old post was promoted back up earlier this week. Those were my first male plants I ever got…and it was because I got some free seeds with my light and did not realize they were not feminized. Every feminized seed I have planted has been female.
I got lazy on this current grow and was not checking the plants closely…partially because my back has been bothering me and I did not want to pull them out of the tent. And I found this male TODAY on day 10 since the flip!
I got these seeds at CannaCon Detroit from Extreme Genetix…she/he was a Chimera #3 x OG Kush and the guy assured me they were feminized…even gave me a free t-shirt. First sign of trouble was two of the seeds I got were dried husks. Strike 1…then the next seed did not pop…Stike 2. So I tried 2 more and they both germinated so now I had 5 plants in a 4x4 tent instead of my preferred 4. The male is strike 3.
All that work and love and I have to shoot it
I have it out of the tent…but am again looking for confirmation and permission to execute from you folks.

Make it into a Xmas tree on the table hang some bulbs and eat those pollen sacks they are delicious.
I sent my last one to feed the others by chopping up and stuffing down the sides of the pots and recycling some into other used pots. Even saved some pollen and used it to make some seeds.
It’s cool to see them mature too.
