Seeds i purchased from ILGM questionable

Take some clones and you won’t miss a single seed. Really, all you need is one good plant and you can get hundreds of clones off of it.

Wow, really? This is why i was reluctant to even say anything about it… i figured this would somehow be twisted out of proportion.
Its just common business practice. I used to run my own Custom Archery string buissnes and if someone ordered a 22 inch string and i made it 21 inches long by mistake and if they contacted me to complain. I would not have ignored them. I would correct it. Its common business practices. The customer comes first. Where are you from? Because in America this is how we roll. For instance, if you buy a new car that is advertised with free wheels but they forget to put the wheels on the car. I guess your not going to complain, huh? Every one else got all 4 free wheels like advertised but you. Your telling me your not going to ask why? @Storm
Sounds like you have drunk alot of ILGM kool aid to me.

Yes, but its common business practices. If a customer was shoted and complains, you dont just ignore them! It just seems shady to me.

I had an issue with un popped seeds here… 4 of 20 if I remember correctly… it took a bit of time for a response, and I had to be kind of diligent in my efforts on communications on the problem, however, they did make it right in the end.

That having been said, it seems reasonable to assume that they can’t be expected to fix a problem that hasn’t happed yet.

If and when some seeds fail to pop (which in all probability will happen to at least one or two) go through the proper channels and request new seeds. They will make it right

I would probably send another email to their customer support. I cant speak from your experience but i have had nothing but quick responses and professionalism from ilgm. Like mentioned eariler they may be backed up. I got replacement seeds from them in no time from my first order with them. Best of luck tho :call_me_hand:

Now that I think about it, I had to complain here on the site before it was rectified, but it was rectified in the end

This is what i figured i would do. Just to see if other people had this same experience. If its common for them to forget a seed or not. I just want some answers. Its just not good buissnes practice.

I’m curious, in these emails, what are you requesting? Simply assurance that the company will stand by its warranty, or replacement of the seeds for bigger prettier seeds?

If the former, seeking assurance that the company is “reachable” and that they stand by the warranty, that’s totally fair and appropriate.

If the latter, then imo, it’s really not so reasonable, and you really need to attempt the germination before you rattle cages

I can see how you might get frustrated with the non response you have received so far

The issue is, is that they shorted me a seed and im trying to find out why and or if i could still get it. I am being patient. I sent them 3 emails already. It’s been a week.

Haha. Never Bought a single seed from ILGM. This is a help forum. Your complaints need to go to ILGM customer support. Whatever you think of my respnse to your complaints means absolutely nothing to me. Retired corporate retail. Have witnessed MANY customer complaints and if not through proper channels tossed many in the garbage. Most were repeating comments with different words. When advised to go through the channels those customers preferred to complain instead of doing their due diligence. No worries. Much love and hope it works out. First rule of thumb is go to the source..not the breakroom and talk about it.

Yes, I see now, I forgot the shorted seed.
I would be willing to bet, you will have a response relatively soon ish now that it’s on the site

My requests seemed to also go unnoticed until I mentioned it here when I had my issue

I am getting the impression that its very “clicky” here. I feel that i dont fit in here and it may have been done purposely. I have been through alot in life and people can get pretty ugly pretty quickly…lol… i have noted a monitor here even stating to another new member that he is going to fit in good here.
I personally am not the type of person that will change the way i speak or act to try to fit in anywhere. I am just being me. I dont kiss ass. I dont play games. Im older and im a real person. Just because i dont use cliches like “growmie” or “bro” doesn’t mean im slow. I just dont like slang words. I just joined up here to learn how to grow my cannabis so, i figured it would be nice to buy seeds from them also.

Thank you for your response though. It’s helpful. Maybe they are just backed up and my complaint is on the waiting list.

Well, I for one, hope you not only get your seed thing worked out quickly, but that you decide to stay an do indeed fit in.

I personally was trying to offer constructive feedback and also let you know you are not the first person to run into hiccups in the buying process here, but that it does work out in the end.

I certainly hope I have not offended you. Anyway I hope it all works out for you and as far as I’m concerned, I hope you stick around

Not trieng to be rude. Older same as you and can be blunt. This is a great site for help. Been here a few years and never notice clicks myself. Also have seen people worry over ILGM itself here where no real help can be given. I TOTALLY respect not bowing to anyone. I do not and do not expect others to. I also hope you stick around. ILGM can be slow. Most comments I have seen were retracted when the system in place kicked in. Givem time…after a week remind them nicely…etc. They WILL make it right. Apologies if was too blunt before but I believe you RESPECT that more than not @anon34311147

At the risk of sounding like an ass, I was once in this same boat, and I didn’t get any kind of response or feedback from ILGM until I mentioned it politely here on the site…then I was taken care of within 24 hrs.

So,respectfully, sometimes it has to spill into the break room to get noticed
