Small brown boy on my northern lights auto. I already scooped it out. Just read on here that it means your soil is active and happy? Here’s what the 2 others look like. No shrooms growing. Could it be the black pot is warming up too much? I’m pretty new to this, these are my best seedlings I’ve ever had just want to keep them alive until my grow tent gear is here. Not the best planning… I ordered the wrong tent. But new one is coming.
It is a symptom of the soil being too wet. The soil should be maintained nearly dry and a seedling should only get a couple ml of water per day. Let your soil dry out before watering again. Cannabis tolerates dry soil far better that wet soil. Overly wet soil will cause root rot (aka damping off.)
A lot of soils are contaminated with mushroom spores they’re usually benign and dont really harm anything some can even be beneficial to the soil but yeah I’d probably remove it too just wear gloves as a precaution
It’s been estimated that approximately 500 mold spores in every cubic meter of household air. I’m not sure that there would be any soil out there that doesn’t already have some level of spores, and even mycelium, in it.
The shroom looks like a liberty cap, but I wouldn’t eat it. Many shrooms are poisonous.
Thank you that makes sense, the weather here is super moist right now. Here’s what I’m dealing with, it affect my indoor temp a lot too. The weather is all over the place right now here. Taking long time for it to dry out it seems
@Budbrother and @SeaOhAreWhy are my fellow shroom growers. We have a shroom growing thread here that gets some traffic. I just started a grow yesterday.
