As you know, I love mutations myself! I would suggest taking a clone just in case she becomes an amazing producer!

I know. It’s an auto.

Bums. I love the duck foot leaves.

I bent them over for now to keep them level with the rest. Scrog net is coming Monday. They were very flexible at the top six inches or so. They stayed after I pet them like a cat a few times. The fan leaves are holding them down a little bit too.
It’s been a fast moving week in the grow room. I was trying to post once a week. when I look back at my first grow journal, I see everything happens suddenly. This is fun. Thanks for the help. I’ll post next Tuesday unless something amazing happens.

One of my Bruce Banners started off very weird. The new growth looks normal but the main stem and branches look like broccoli crossed with rhubarb. Otherwise healthy. Auto again. I’ll start photos in the spring. Bergmans Lab @Hoppiefrog is cooking up some good genetics on this forum somewhere. Mind boggling. I’ll get there some day.

It’s just a matter of dedication and time , stay true to your passion and you will achieve much more than you could imagine

Looks like a good start

Thank you so much. I tend to compare things in life to fishing. I’m hundreds of miles from my fishing hole and you are the guy on the pier with all the nice fish in the bucket. I know how to fish, but I have never been here before. I met a lot of friendly people here with great skills. But I’ve been watching you the most. It looks a little confusing to me at this point. I want to do what you do. I love your detailed approach to growing. I love Gardening but I’m green when it comes to indoors.

@Gooch99 I had two people take me under their wings and and many in the front seat of the stands that cheered me on.

@Gooch99 can I score an invite to the party, here?

Lets party

@DEEPDIVERDAVE Welcome, the more the merrier. I tied the three tallest down a with a pipe cleaner around the tops loosely secured with string. The slip knot can be loosened or tightened. I’ll have to move them around after the weekend. It looks like the banners are catching up fast. The Bananas stayed smaller and are busting into flower. 30 days. I think I picked them because they stay small. Scrog net is comming monday. I cleaned up the bottoms removing those first two leaves. It felt like revenge for all the stress they can caused. I removed any small suckers and ground scraper leaves. Professor DeBacco, my favorite Tuber. I reached out to him to see if he would make a fire safety video. He got back to me and said when he starts creating content again he will put it on the list. They have a fire suppression system at the university. Great topic. 1766.5 lb. pumpkin yield. That’s pushing the 9 parameters just right.

Scrog nets are here early. Now I’m scratching my head again.
I have three cultivars of autos. A few of each cultivar are growing much faster than their sisters. The Banana Kush is flowering first and is smallest of the three. I don’t think the BK needs a net. I can support them with stakes and string. I’ll move them to the 4x4 and use a net later if I need to.
Should I put the other two cultivars together? Bruce Banner and Blue Cheese.
Is it wise to pick out the taller plants and combine cultivars under the same net?
6 autos in a 5x5. Too many?
I have a simple set up. When I improve my skills and crank up the 9 parameters, it will be one plant in a 5x5.

Second picture first. 3 black pots all bananas. back right small and lots of flowers starting.
First picture is after I moved things around. I cleaned everything as I went. Wiped down the floor and drip trays with disinfectant. This is their final home. Before I pull the trigger, should I make any changes? I’ve heard that it is not a good idea to mix cultivars under the same net. Your thoughts please. @Hoppiefrog @hoppybrewer @JaneQP I’m not sure how the tagging thing works yet.
what are the ties for? no instructions with net.

Hey Gooch. I mix cultivars all the time in the tent together  My family and friends like variety. You might have to put a “lifter” under the pots to raise the short ones up to keep an even canopy. I have used those plastic shoe boxes and mini-plastic crates (I think they are 20 years old). I have read of some people using bricks.

Best to you!

I haven’t tried a net yet. @Growingforothers might have some advice. They run nets with amazing results!

Thanks Jane. Not many people around here on Sundays I’m glad you replied.
I gave them all a good trimming. I trimmed them just like tomato plants. I got rid of all the suckers and fan leaves in the middle. On my first grow I would hesitate and think, there goes another bong hit, every time I cut off a small bud. This time it’s “see ya, I got work to do.” It was all that extra trimming at harvest that changed my tune.
@Growingforothers, I hear you know something about this scroggin thing. What the heck am I doing wrong, or right? Some advice pleeeeze.

I got that change in attitude after this summer’s harvest! I am only around on weekends and evenings these days. New job description as you know, “grandmother aka grand bunny”.

Cleaned the plants and tents up. I decided to go with five plants almost equal in height. The smallest plant is in the middle but still hasn’t stretched yet. I think they will appreciate the elbow room and fill in the canopy. I left a few fan leaves on the bottoms. I’ll do the mechanic crawl to clip them in a few days.

Banana Kush; 2 leaves, 2 leaves, 2 leaves…2 alternating leaves., alternating flowers.

Is my soil radioactive? The Bruce Banner in the middle of the first picture has taller side branches than the main stem. Scrogging itself?
Any Ideas, comments or cautions are welcome. @kaptain3d @NUG61 @
