I started harvesting the GG4 I got from ILGM. Total of five plants. I got 3 and a half done this evening. I’ll finish the rest in the morning.
Decided I would wash this weed to see if it’s worth the hype. I’m surprised how much dirt or whatever was on the weed. I followed the video on utube. I used 5 gallon buckets for my buds. It was pretty easy.

Finished up the harvest/wash job this morning. I did minimalistic trimming of brown leaves and fan leaves. I did the washing operation inside my other grow tent. This kept the mess contained and made cleanup quick and easy.
I have never washed weed before and I was surprised how dirty the water was when I finished.
I have four small fans circulating air in a 3x5 tent. I have everything closed up and the exhaust fan blowing.temp is down to 70deg and the humidity is 77%. When the humidity gets down to 60% I will cut it down to one fan not blowing directly on the plants.
I will use the moisture meter I picked up at Home Depot to check buds. My last harvest the buds got extremely dry before any stems indicated it was dry enough.
On the home stretch now.

Humidity is down to 63% and temp is steady at 70. Still have the exhaust fan on low.
I have one small fan in the bottom of the tent running. Things are looking good.

Humidity is down to 53% this morning. Checked buds with moisture meter. Big buds are at 10.4% and small buds are at 8.7%. I’m going to do the same as last harvest by mixing small buds and large buds together in the grove bags. It seems to be working on the first harvest.

Broke out the new 19inch trimmer. Took a little experimenting to get the results I wanted. I’m using one spacer, dry blade, and 15 to 20 turns. I adjusted the number of turns based on bud appearance.
50 grams was the amount of weed I ran each time. This saved a lot of time and effort . The big brown truck delivered my Magic Buttermachine yesterday. Going to make some butter and coconut oil today. I need to buy some butter before I can begin. I also received my molds for gummies, chocolate, and butter.
I picked up a lot of cookie mix and brownie mix last week.
Things are looking pretty good so far.
