There is chlorophyll still in buds and light will not allow it to dissipate from buds… Seems like that’s what I have read… Buds need to dry and the chlorophyll goes out and flavor is enhanced!

I misunderstood the question. I wouldn’t be drying and germinating at the same time. Just saying I want the 2x2 for both purposes, but not at the same time.

My understanding is that you want photosynthesis to stop and let the plant process the rest of the sugars present while hanging in the dark.
@Zombo,the paper bag probably only has a use in certain climates. If it’s too dry or too humid I could foresee problems. In a fairly benign ambient RH it is a useful tool and I use it in conjunction with my climate and an accurate scale. I knew that my ambient RH was around 50% which is tough to dry big buds. When I got them to the point where they needed to slow down, I bagged them and weighed and recorded the weight of each. Then I monitored them. When I no longer saw a change in weight they went into mason jars.
This technique would be completely unworkable in, say, Tucson or Atlanta. But it works here.

Thx for the info @Myfriendis410…if you don’t use paper bags, then just hang them to dry? Also I bought ball jars today, are those ok to store buds in?

@Zombo, they’re perfect. If you are drying and curing for the first time it’s almost a given that you will get it wrong. In my case I didn’t dry long enough, which you can recover from if given guidance in time. Too dry and the high is there but it won’t be as enjoyable. Smoking samples is perfectly acceptable you know. All in the name of science,lol.

What I do is dedicate one of my tents as a drying tent at end of harvest since I have three
I have set up a temp drying room in the past using black plastic to block light an exhaust fan and a small fan to move air inside but not blowing directly on buds just enough so the air isn’t stagnant
Slow drying and curing is best you want to maintain around 60% humidity as well during the drying and curing process
I don’t worry to much If I get down to 55% or as high as 65% but never above or below this range 
Stems should snap and break not bend when dry enough to be put in jars

Here’s an update of all my WWA babies three have been topped already got them under the 5th mode and one that’s taking its time is still on the 3rd set of leaves. She’s coming along but I’m not gone rush her.
They look promising

Ok since I can’t send these flower power nutes to you or anybody on this site. I’ve decided to use them on my WWA that I have growing now. Question on what week of the flower power nutrient schedule do I start my plants on if today makes 3 weeks from germination of the seeds?
I didn’t start feeding my auto till I saw pistols and then I started at first week flower nutes but I’m not using those
@Majiktoker uses them and could answer this better
I believe @garrigan62 also uses them as well as @Hogmaster
