Is it good to let the soil dry completely before the next watering? Will that damage the root system?

Not completely dry… but close to it. Cannabis prefers a dryer than wet soil.

I just ordered an 8x4 grow tent because I realized that the smell is going to be an issue eventually. Legally I can have 4 in veg and 4 in flower at any given time.
My LED covers 6x6 for vegetation and 5x5 for flowering according to the manufacturer.
Would I be able to start a couple more plants? Do you think that’s pushing it for light coverage?

I’m sure we’re in different climates but I was wondering how you set up your cloud controller.
Right now I have mine set to auto with humidifier, heater and inline fan. The inline only kicks on when humidity is at or above 77%
I haven’t tried VPD mode yet.

I control everything manually. I just monitor, find a happy medium and go lol.

Christmas LST!
I tied down the main stems Christmas morning. I started pretty early I think because there wasn’t a lot to work with. They should be due for a watering today so I will continue tying down as I am able.

They’re photoperiod feminized.
There’s 2 more Super Silver Haze seedlings in seedling pots on the edges of the 10 gallon pots that I just germinated about a week ago. Hopefully the older ones don’t grow too much before the young ones mature.

I’m starting to worry that I should have gone with autoflower strains because the grow is at my sister’s house and she has kids who could potentially expose them to light during flower if they are curious.
My niece has special needs and does not follow instructions well.
Would a single exposure to light or a few completely mess up flowering?

Say they were in flower for several weeks and the tent was unzipped for 10 minutes.
Would that be catastrophic or reduce yields?
