He looks like someone toched his Bacon lol
Hey @TheAbu95, tagging along for the ride. I’m probably a few weeks behind you on my second run as well. Happy journey growmie.
Slowing your fan is the only quick fix. If you’re going to attempt keeping humidity dialed in winter you’ll need a bigger humidifier for lung room. Whether it be diy or purchased. Same goes for dehumidifier during summer in places it’s typically muggy. I run a 70 pint in large open part of basement and a 30 pint in my lung room. Pimpin humidity is easy but its not cheap.
Thank you!!! I crunk mine up to 90% and left earlier. When i got home and opened the lung room i thought something was on fire . It does good the reservoir just aint big enough.
@Growzen55 glad to have you man!! Maybe we can both learn something new!!
@dbrn32 i know ive asked before but i cant find it for the life of me. Does the roots original soil feed the plant for a certain amount of time like the fox farms or do i need to start adding nutes early on?
My experience is theres enough nutes in fresh soil for a plant to be ok for 3-5 weeks before feeding, mines a little different now with my recycled and dry ammendments i have one more run of that and back to my advanced nutrients again when needed. Still just from what i found on the forum. I used to mix HF and Ocean Forest before i decided i have enough to keep doing my recycled soil now with a bag added when low.
A 3 gallon pot watered properly will take a new plant for about 4 weeks. It can vary a little depending on how it’s watered, size of plant, environmentals, etc. Bungers 3-5 week assessment is pretty right on.
Thanks B!! You da man:muscle: you recycle the soil from your indoor grows? Didn’t me and you have a convo about making compost one night lol, i still wanna do that.
As in dont accidentally flush them by over watering lol? Gunna be in a 10 gallon bag again. I know we talked about 5 or 7 being more than enough in my tent but the roots on the last plant were hard as a rock at the end, 10 wasn’t really any trouble though so i think ill just go overkill lol. Had you not said something about it i was gunna try to find a short 20 gallon bag .
Gunna order the soil and jacks in the deer blind in the morning lol. Gotta finish getting my parts list together for the scrog so i can hit up the harware store. Me and the feller that runs it know each other but hes shady. Idk what im gunna tell him when he ask what im building. Dont need that many fitting to work on a sink .
Thank you, for that.
No on compost if i did it was my evil twin and you cant go by what he says, hes crazy. Lol. Yes i harvest knock the soil off keep it in a 40 gallon container if i bought new each time it might get expensive all different angles just trying to grow some nice plants. I love growing
Roots can be hard and still do their job, but no skin off to me. You can grow in 55 gallon drum for all it matters. It’s just spending a little more on soil than you probably need to is all.
Pvc? You tell him wife seen something on pintrest she wants you build lol.
I forgot you were growing enough to supply the upper 1/3 of the country with butter for a year
Ill freeze up and say something dumb that makes it worse than the truth lol. I know how i am.
Order off Amazon. the local PIA
How do I know? It seems to be a favorite of my wife. It started with something to hold her hair dryer, straightener, and curling iron
At least she don’t have you draggin’ home pallets for “her” projects…that she needs your help with
Not yet anyway, but she hasn’t seen the pile we have behind shop either.
I can certainly attest to that. 70 pint dehumidifier running in the lung room set at 50% for the flowering tents and 2 ACI humidifiers piped into the 2 veg tents to keep that RH in range. Never ending balancing act
Welp… $100 worth of pvc, 2 or 3 cuss words and we are well on our way to having a double net capable 360° rotating scrog stand lol.
I ordered my stand and tray to go underneath. Supposed to be here in a few days, gunna wait and do the actual screens when the rest of the pieces come in .
I probably should have waited till my base came in but i got stonned and didn’t wanna waste it . If my calculations are correct lol, my first screen should be roughly 16" above the soil and then the other screen is removeable, ajustable and can be set up to 14" above the first screen.
@dbrn32 i knew it would happen and it did. Walked up to the counter with my basket and first thing dude asked is what you building? I told him i wasn’t sure yet my wife just gave me a list lol.
The remnants of 30’ of pvc
