Ive got a few bows, been shooting a dimond for the last few years and its really grown on me. I understand why someone would want to only bow hunt. No feeling like it!! Down here though rifle season opens up around mid November and runs into February. I hang the bow up and break out the win mag first chance i get. I hunt alont of thick bottoms and big cutovers so its nice to be able to reach out and touch them or shoot through small sticks if i have too. These are my 3 bucks from last year. So far this year ive got an 8 pt and my first piebald.

Im starting to ease into the suburban bowhunting though. Went and hung a cell cam in the woodline of my sisters yard in town. Im gunna end up in jail . Im still trying to get all my paperwork together before i even attempt to hunt it.

@TheAbu95 all do respect those are some fine bucks especially for way south like that. Texas seems to grow them scrawny deer . But those are some damn fine bucks I summize that the diet down south is the main difference we got alot of agriculture here that grow grain and soy that corn been getting fat.

Thats crazy!!! Biggest bodied buck ive ever killed was 185 on the hoof lol. Yalls agricultural definitely makes a difference. These are on store bought corn lol.

We’re right next to forest preserve and this time of year have to be careful pulling into driveway after dark. We have a pretty good sized Rottweiler and they won’t even leave when he’s out.

Yes sir country “any animal” way different than urban animals deer squirrel you name it the game is completely different. Way more involved in hunting land with 1000 acres to the vacant kmart lot grown over lol!

@TheAbu95 anything by bowtech is beyond descent i shot a modified like sling shot design type of bow that BOWTECH had sent my archery supply shop. I asked why in the hell would they make that the owner replies " i don’t know maybe to shoot outta car window" i about died laughing just thinking of dumbasses that get popped for shooting a decoy set up by the Department Of Conservation.

I got videos on snapchat, a couple were close enough i could hear them sniffing trying to figure out what i was. Pretty crazy lol. Ive never been around them like that.

@TheAbu95 i had a six point 175 lb buck charge in on me about stopped about 8 yrds out and just started head bobbing and sniffing huffing like crazy first season using carbon camos freaked me out! Then I shot him about 25yrds away from me. Had to wait for him to turn and just fitting to burn. It was awesome very intense.

That would cause me a heart attack lol. I can draw 80lbs in the yard and shoot for an hour. You put me 20’ up a tree with a 60lb yearling at 20yrds and its all i can do to get the release on the loop.

Hell yes! That is why it so damn awesome the rush not to get busted drawing back the thrill shakey buzz after hearing him hit the ground after a few yards man ole man i love it so!
