The closet reno is doneski. Temp high is 87 F now and that is daytime and light at 100%. Let’s try this again. Lemon Pie, Frostbanger, Gorilla Zkittlez, Tropicana Cookies, Banana Purple Punch. All Fast Buds feminized Autos. Plant date March 25th, 2025.
Looking good, and best wishes. For what it’s worth, my last two runs of 420 Fast buds seeds were suuuuper slow until about 5 weeks, Then they exploded into monsters. So don’t give up before the miracle happens.
I switched out equipment mid grow last time and had temp problems that stunted my girls. I am changing up a few things. Should be interesting. Ditching fox farms nutes for Dr. Earth, some microrisomes, and worm castings. Not doing any training this time so I have a control group for comparing future LST grows.
can much or anythoing be done about you temp °? is this in a closet?
Germainating temp ° roughly 70°-85°, but seedling you want that to lower some.
Have you heard of VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit)?
Don’t worry if you don’t understand it (its confusing me haha) there are charts that will tell you what to do. It basically gives you a go by for Relitive Humitdy RH% and Temperatue °.
also the chart has setting and you can select the state of growth.
87 F is with 100% light during the day. In other words my max temp. I am running the grow at night and have a few options for cooling it down if need be.
You can run those girls at 70% light all through veg and get better temps. Just drop them closer. Just a suggestion. When need the power in flower you have had time to adjust air movement and get down to lower 80 easy.
Yes they are currently at 75 and monitoring temps. Good advice.
The goal is 100% light strength for flower, so while a dimmed light is good for now, I am still fine tuning. This morning I am running lights at 100% with 5 - 2 qt. Canisters of salt ice. So far so good. I have a deep freezer so I will just pick up 5 more so I have them ready for switching out. Humidifier may need to be set higher due to the amount of air circulation, watching that as well. All of which will be easier when the damn probe that was missing for my inline fan is sent to me. Grrrrrr.
I know it’s just one more expense after another, but as far as guessing with light intensity… I use this as much as my PH/TDS pen. It’s a HUGE comfort knowing exactly how much light I am providing to my plants. It WILL pay for itself on energy savings and heat reduction as well. You can turn your light dimmer way down and lower the light closer to the plants at this stage. And Putting the driver outside the grow space can help with heat.

I am looking at moving the driver. Ty bud
I am trying to figure out what to do with the driver on my light. I am considering wall mounting it just below my inline fan and mounting an 8 inch fan pointing right at it to push that air out. I am thinking I will need spacers so it isn’t touching the wall and so air gets to both sides? I have had many suggestions to put the driver outside the grow but that is not an option. I am a special needs mom with a curious little boy so everything needs to stay in the closet.
God bless you and your son. I keep one of the fans oscillating down on the driver. Might look to getting a small clip fan that can dissipate some of the heat?
Mario curtains and a personalized periodic table. Nice… this room speaks volumes. I know him not but he appears pretty awesome.
Appropriately named, Air Movers. Those things are awesome.
I don’t think the door vent was moving anything. It is now. Lol.
I am just now looking at this link. I will grab one as soon as the husband forgets how much money I spent to upgrade the light and fan. Lol
And I don’t think the light driver really adds enough heat to turn your world upside down over it. I guess just feel it and make your own determination.
