Richard1-1 Beginning Grow Journal

Gotta grow Outside for now… Kids are always around… I’m actually Worried about the Copters with the Big Black Viewer hanging under them that fly Over scanning the Area… Can they “See” plants with that Thing, and How do I improve my Stealth??

Go to hobby lobby or a craft store and buy some fake flowers that are native, color wise, to your area. You can tie them onto the plants and boom, now you have a rose Bush haha

@Richard1-1 camo works grest for cover, i try and hide my pots, from from them choppers and helps with heat, my buddy is a cropp duster so he flew over my path and said i look clear. I use surrounding veggatation as cover alao, hioe thishelps. I live 5 mikes from mexican border, so its an everyday routine to have a blackhawk hovering over us. there are there is two clones a seedling and 2 month old plants in there.

Yours Looks Great @Mrcrabs… I’d rather grow indoors, but My “Convenient Location” doesn’t seem so Convenient with teenagers running around and I don’t trust my freedom to Them not talking even if they just Think they know Something

The Other option IS to just plant Seeds in a Lot of places around the Area and make the Plants Indigenous…

@imSICKkid … Wal-Mart has Expert Gardener,“expanding soil” which is Coco … They also have “Magic Dirt” Organic Premium Potting soil which has 1.10% nitrogen, 0.30% phosphate, and 0.35% potash… Their Perlite is Miracle Grow and I’ve read not to use it… Will this Soil and Coco work Well for Me??

I couldn’t tell you yes or no. I’ve only ever ran fox farm soil. I know precharged soils are a no no for a lot of people. Specifically if it has any kind of time release nutrients. Getting hot soil is one thing, but whenever you get into time released nutrients it’s really bad on your plants

Since you have the proper nutes with GH Flora you could go straight coco and not worry about soil. Coco is considered soilless and is operated similar to hydro.

Cannabis plants don’t show up on thermal any different than any other plant, the pot will show up even under camouflage netting.

@WickedAle, is Coco a Viable option in an Outdoor situation without Much attention?

Coco has no nutrition in it so you would need to be on top of the nutes. If water and grow is what your looking for I believe @garrigan62 has recipes for good soil that’s packed with nutes.

@FrostyBuds, So the Rumor that Certain Plants, like Tomatoes, Okra and Pot have a Different Heat Signature is False? … Thanks!!

Thanks @Jbum !! … Can I check his info on the Forum without messaging garrigan65 a bunch

If you are to consider outdoors grow I would definitely go the Garrigan supersoil route.
