Any affordable Timelapse cameras for grow room? What do I need to look for I know nothing about Timelapse cameras. Also how big of a sad card do I need if it’s recording 24/7 ? Will the camera hurt the plants when lights are off?
@ThatHydroCouple G’day mate you can get a cheap go pro like 300 aud does everything, or can get dearer,but eitherway most cameras hook up with a sd card an can transfer to pc or whatever to edit an stuff great idea,is some great timelapses around and now you can just plug them in an leave em for 24 hours 
the size of the card might depend on how long your shots are 20 secs apart 1 min apart but a 128gb sd card will surfice for all at 30 sec intervals.good topic mate tk you rock on

I have done some great timelapse videos (eggs hatching) with an old smartphone and time-lapse app, only cost me a few bucks for the pro version of the app as I had the old phone … Not 4k, but 1080 and it did the job quite well…
And although GoPro is the go-to action camera, years ago I bought an AKASO V50 action cam, I have zero complaints and I still use it to this day for all types of filming including time-lapse… It’s a legacy action camera now but because of that it can be bought for under $100 on Amazon, there are newer models that are also reasonable… The V50 is behind the curve as far as new cameras go, but 4k 30fps is plenty for most people’s needs even today… And the AKASO ‘budget’ cameras are actually decent cameras that can stand on their own even if not as good as a real GoPro…

@mingleme gday yeah i had 1 of those 100 dollar 4k cams with a waterproof housing to get surf pics lol did the job but yeah i need more,even a go pro 5 is sick compared to my 100 crap thing what is it up to now go pro 11 or 13 ? God sounds like a never ending rocky movie,hee hee was gd for surf but no good for close ups of the garden i rekon a lense be in order for both good topic mate,what suggestions you rekon a small cannon eos 200 d ? with a lense ?

I read somewhere wyze camera was good but after reading reviews on Amazon I have mixed feelings.
