Ok I’m
I lowered the lights to 15-16 so we will see
Nice start I don’t recognize the lights but plants aren’t stretching so they like it.
The ones in the tent might be done, I would drop the lights to 18" and if there’s no movement in 3 or 4 days they are done. The pic is blurry but they look the same as the other day I saw em
How could they strech if he keeps whacking em down small I’ve never seen 2 buds on a plant unless some one is waaay over training or there severely stunting autos or deliberately keeping short for height restrictions other then that things are only going the directions he’s making them grow… your doing waaay to much defoliation. The leaves are need for photosynthesis dont pluck her clean unless necessary …that much is never necessary unless you have damage of some sort I doubt that’s an adequate light because the first red flag it’s a purple light …very few of those are worth there weight in …steel lol…also looks like you have some extended feed dirt mixed in there looks like you got osmocote fertilizer beads inthere… if you do… no good no extended release feeds … it dosent bend and fold like marijuana wants it to do… that being said try going with a steady foundation of all foxfarm …cut with perlite if you wanna strech it perlite works great …when you want some worth while lights dont but anymore till you know what your looking for purples are very seldomly even half if what they advertise on amazon
@Scattered don’t get discouraged just keep going with what you have and learn from your mistakes. I grew with 2 113w blurple lights for two years and I would turn 3-6 ounce with em depending on how many mistakes I made along the way. Not everyone can start at the top
I gotcha man I’m figuring it out slowly but my question about the readings all my reading are on point for the most part though right ? My soil ph is 6.0-7.0 my water runs alittle high here like 7.8 so I water with .5.8-6.0 ph with 250 ppm and a 1500 ppm at run off veg stays about 82° 65%rh flower 78- 85° with 35-45 it does get down 62-68 but its only for a couple hour early morning until the heater catch’s up
Hey @Scattered i was talking on a different thread and one of the guys/gals posted this and if I claimed I wrote it you would think I’m smart. But can’t claim it, I don’t want anyone thinking I’m smart
Na all funny aside someone posted this and I copy paste it to share it with you
- Seedlings: 100-250 (nutrients aren’t needed here, hence there’s not a lot of particles needed)
- First Half of Vegging Cycle: 300-400 (this is usually after you transplant, which still doesn’t require many nutrients)
- Second Half of Vegging: 450-700 (you’ll start giving your plants more nutrients at this stage)
- First Half of Flowering: 750-950 (your plants will be eating more as they grow, so they’ll be taking in more nutrients)
- Second Half of Flowering: 1000-1600 (this is when your plant’s eating the most, especially if you give it additives)
- End of Flower, Entering Harvest: As close to 0 as possible (this is when you’ll be flushing your plants, so you don’t want there to be a lot of particles leftover
If your plants get bigger you will need more food over all
I know this is an older thread but for soil you want to pH your water to 6.5, and you want the soil
to be as close to 6.5 pH as well. In Hydro the average pH for feeding is 5,8 - 6.2 as I’m reading
here on the forums.
I had a runt my first go around too. Let the soil get above 7.0pH and it caused a series of issues
for me as well. Don’t worry too much about ppm, just focus on pH and do half feedings of nutes. Not full doses until the soil is under control.
This isn;t a criticism in any way, just want to see my brothers growing big and happy.
It certainly helped me alone the way. If someone already pointed out the soil pH issue
then just ignore this fully and have a good new year bro.
All input is welcome here I know where all the levels should be my thing is I will second guess myself then do it and sometimes I’m wrong or high one of the two or both but ya soil I leveled out thanks bro check out round 2 in my journal
Aye aye captain. Will do!
