They’re definitely not afraid to fight. Unfortunately they’re also not great at knowing when to fold em. I think I was about 14 when a real arrogant coon woke our German Shepherd up about 2am on our deck. The coon was just staring in our glass door watching him go absolutely nuts. I couldn’t help myself but open the door. By the time I put my shoes on and found a flashlight, the dog was carrying him around the yard like trophy in mostly one piece. He obviously didn’t like other animals in his space. Just a couple of scratches to the nose though.
