Thanks for the recommendation of Graysin. I’m so used to growing outdoors that I really hate the indoor idea but we have to roll with the times. Too many people around nowadays.
You mean inside the tent work? I either take my plants out - though so much fun lugging my 5 gallon pot when it is saturated! Or sit on a stool and reach inside. I do like to take them out so I can examine them very closely.

ShockDog, I’m sure your grandma is cool in so many ways just not her path. It’s great to have such a well spoken of website to get info from, although I’ve bought seeds from ILGM for years, I’ve never deviated from my normal gro-routine. It works for me! But now we feel we must think about indoor gardening. I love that I can come on this site and ask a ? which is usually answered quickly. I appreciate all the feedback. One is never too old to learn new tricks.

Yes Fiz, inside the tent. You still have to groom and check soil and give them a turn and…So I think I’ll start looking around for lights etc over this winter. We are set for 2023 but I need to plan far far ahead as it takes me forever to accomplish anything nowdays. Plants are my salvation. Thanks for taking the time to reply

Haha! Oh man… im on my first photo grow (ive only ever did autos) and I’m now lugging around 10 gal pots from my tent to water outdoors. I mistakenly vegged for 10 some weeks and transplanted a couple times.
It sucks

I messed up going from 5s into 7s. I wanted to transplant into a bigger pot with fresh Strawberry Fields FF soil for flowering…
Didnt give myself enough room. And so into 10s they went lmao

If you have to haul your plants around all of the time I think you will find the comfort and controlled environment indoor / tent growing offers to be a relief. I pull up a stool to water / feed the plants. Rolling
plant stands with trays makes it even easier to move and train them.
The key to indoor growing, besides lights, is the ability to manage temperature and humidity.
Good luck with the transition to indoor growing.
p.s. there are a good number of us retired grandparent types around here.
p.s.s. When I was 15 in 1966 the family car was a 1966 327 Chevy impala hardtop. It was a blast learning to drive in that car.

As an experienced grower, how much grow is desired? can the grow room support two tents?
If growing continous, a Veg tent and Flower tent are great. Size appropriate for house, air environment and electrical electrical factors or constraints must be considererd before DEEPDIVING, but till death do us part, I signed on.
