A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks
I’ve heard that when it comes time to harvest that instead of pulling the whole plant up that you can just cut off the buds and leave the rest of the plant intact. In doing so, the plant will come back next year and the buds will be even more powerful. What’s your hit on this?
Yeah unfortunately it doesn’t work that way unless I’m not understanding your question completely you should join our forum and we will be more than happy to help you be a successful grower @Countryboyjvd1971 any thoughts

You are going to get many different view points on this.
The facts:
Yes you can regrow. Is it easy, some say yes, some say no lol.
Weed is not a perennial, it’s an annual plant. Basically that means it’s a one and done situation. That’s not to say it cant be done.
Those who do it usually only try it 2 to 3 times with the same plant. Reason is because the trunk and stems get very woody. It opens the plant up to disease and other issues. Also the stems start growing all kinds of funky.
Some people swear by using a regrown indoor plant outdoors. That it already has the root system, and they get huge with big buds.
If your thinking about doing it, and you just harvested without nursing your plant right after the first cut (which needs to be done perfectly & immediately) it’s too late.
High Times mag did a great article on it. This is also a topic on EVERY weed forum out there. Do some research, and see if it’s something you want to try.

I agree with @Hogmaster thatbit doenst really work that way
I also agree that yes you can leave enough vegetation on the plant and put it under a 18-6 light period cause it to reveg
I myself dont think its worth the time or money invested

I have Gold Leaf and Chronic Widow starting their 8th week of flower. Day 56 today. The Chronic is about a week out on harvest (Indoor, 3 x 3 tent, 400 HPS, soil), but the pistules and trichomes on the Gold Leaf look closer to ready.
My question is I thought the Gold Leaf flower leaves would turn gold? Anyone experience no gold leaves on the flower for a Gold Leaf plant?
