QueenCityB's Somango, African Buzz, and Alasksan Purple grow journal 2020 (first journal)

I wasnt sure how to scrog either, so I bought this…

It has smaller holes than the 6 inch net that I’ve seen.
It’s pretty cheap.

Working with a small tent and a low legal limit. I have to learn to maximize.

@Enlightened420

The steam roller is looking like a bong turd already.

Glad you posted @froghog50

The apps I switched to recently are these.

One is my meter, one is better camera app.

That’s the same app, I’ve been using for photo’s, takes real decent quality photos.

@PharmerBob, I will scrog one day haha.

Have a great day everyone.

@Enlightened420 is it bad if I just use scrog net to hold plants in to the 4x4 while tent door is open during flower?

Yeah, I’ve been following it pretty much from the beginning, to agree looking like the plants are happy, happy, happy :+1: :tumbler_glass: :v:

Don’t have that knowledge, I’m still a nooby and have never scrogged haha, just found your journal @PharmerBob and will catch up after I get some reno’s done, I’m positive you have plenty of knowledge for me to learn from. :v:

I cant see how it would be bad. I think it would work nicely if your careful.

Question: what is a “good enough” 6" filter? Any brand recommendations? I’m gonna have to get one. The smell is gonna get strong really soon.

There are the amazon $45-$50 versions, but I’m worried those might be too restrictive. I dont want to hurt my fans motor or have my tent temp rise too much.

What I’m hoping to hear is some of you saying those cheap ones will do fine. What I’m fearing is you’ll say, dont get one. Remember the blurple.

And how about a pic of a great Friday gift?

When I bought mine, I looked for the carbon count, I think it filters better, mine was 80 AUD off shnebay. I now wish I had gone with the Infinity cloudline ventilation kit, it would have worked out cheaper and better quality.
Nice hairs, what is the smell like?

It’s a little fresh still. The high is top shelf happy:grin::slightly_smiling_face::blush::grinning:

I’m gonna burp it for a few more days and really enjoy the smell.

Its good herb.

My next tent will have one of those Infinity fans. 2.5 time the cost, but 1.5 less amp draw, more power and quieter. The efficiency will pay for itself and then some over its lifetime.

And the daily garden show goes furthur now with these photos brought to you by two solid weeks of flowering.

I use their inline 6 and it’s cleared the smell out the neighborhood.

I dont think you could give a filter a better personal review than that @PharmerBob

Thanks

Since it’s Saturday night and my wife, who has Lupes is enjoying her evening feeling comfortable after having a cup of Willie’s CBD coffee and I have some one week old OG Kush that I have at 55% humidity right now.

I’m just gonna share my old school technique, and then some porn.

Here’s the deal. That OG Kush was 49% when I checked it. I dont have any fancy desiccant packs laying around.

Oh no, McGyver time. Cut piece of apple core and place in small plastic pan that is open.

Put that bag in jar.

Wait around.

Since this afternoon it has bounced back 5 or 6%,

But everyone probably knew that trick anyway, so sorry about that.

How about some porn?

That last baby girl was cut on five days ago.

Hope you enjoyed that.

I know I did.

Absolutely Gorgeous plants man, super healthy :+1: :star_struck: and they’re taking off too :rocket:
Tagging along for the ride  and Thank you, I did not know the apple trick. Good to know just in case :+1:

@Mote, or a banana peel or orange peel or anything that wants to dehydrate will do it.

Somethings may transfer strong flavors, though.

Someone taught me that during a dry spell when everything around was dried out crap.

Oh, and thank you for the compliments.

It went down a hair when I pulled this out.

And then I had to do this. With a part of that bud.

And load a piece of glass

And then, holy crap

I had to light that and start pulling a hit, and keep pulling until I dropped the lighter and picked up my phone and got a good shot framed while I was still pulling.

Then I dropped the phone, pulled the slide, and paid the price.

I took the entire hit.

It hit back.

By the time I realized I wasnt going to throw up, there was water coming out of the corners of my eyes and halfway down my face.
