Proper use of Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish

I have a bottle of Advanced Nutrients Flawless Finish and am thinking about using it on at least one of the plants I am growing (I might only do one just for comparisons sake).
On the bottle it says to use 8mL per gallon during the final week of bloom.
So, this is where I’m not sure exactly what to do… I was originally planning on doing straight water (no nutrients) for the last 2 weeks before I harvest. Based on Advanced Nutrients instructions, would I:

Only do one week - use Flawless Finish and then harvest.
Use Flawless Finish in the first week and plain water the next.
Use plain water the first week and Flawless Finish the next.

Or, am I overthinking this and any of the above methods will work fine?

Just use the flawless finish for the last week of flower. Water and flawless , no nutes. I use flawless finish also. I use it for a flush before switchin the 12/12 also. It cleans all the built up salts and food in roots and soil.
Helps with smoothness, flavor and potency.
U wont hurt anything using it

I believe @raustin uses it. Either way I’m sure she can help.

I don’t use Flawless Finish, but I use Bembe which I believe is similar. It’s basically just molasses, so you can use it right up to the end without flushing it out for harvest.

My bottle of Flawless Finish directions are 2ml per Litre not gallon.

I water, Flawless Finish, Flush.

I figure the Flawless breaks down all the salts then I do I final flush and I’m usually at max 400 ppm at harvest. Last harvest my PPM was 296.

Which is the same as 8mL per gallon for us Yankees.

Doh - and now I realize, I put 4mL above, not 8mL. It’s 8mL/gal!!! (Corrected now)

So do you just water as normal, 20% run off with the Flawless flush mixture for the last week or do you actually do a higher volume flush with flawless finish mixture?

That’s what I have been doing as per the Advance Nutrients schedule. @OJ-Gold

Still a fan of Flawless Finish?

I am still using. No complaints on it from me. Its not expensive and I find it does flush more salts out than just water. I have also started usin it when I do a flush between veg to harvest switch.
My last round I have also started using the 3 part feed from advanced. Micro, Grow, Bloom with PH perfect and wont look back now. Really like that it takes the guess work out of ph issues, my PH is ALWAYS in check
Also purchased an R/O filter system for my water which also helps alot.
I have made ALOT of changes to my set up and feedings but Flawless is one that will stay in my line up for sure
Sorry for the late reply @Originalgazelle

Entering week 8 on Wednesday and considering starting the flush then and through to end of week 9. Do you do an additional flush after using the flawless finish?

I’ve used it on every grow since I started this thread so long ago. When I decide it is close(typically 2 weeks out) to harvest, I use the Flawless Finish once with plenty of runoff, then just use plain water (pH doesn’t matter at this point) until my PPM drops to around 200, then pull the plant and hang things to dry.

What do you adjust your PH to when you flush? I am consistently around 6.7 6.9 after all nutes. With just the flawless finish I am currently at 7.8 to 7.9. Problem is, I cannot find my PH lowering solution. Any home remedies you can think of to add to drop the level?

I dnt adj my ph anymore. It comes out of my R/O filter at 5.8. Some guys use vineger I think, best to double check tho. There are some home remedies to adj ph tho.
