Hello im wondering how aggressive some of you are with increasing light intensity earlier in veg? These wedding cake photo’s are 30 days old and ive been bumping up light intensity every 3-4 days. running just under 400 ppfd now. From what the charts say is 200-400 early veg but should i keep bumping it up until i start seeing negative effects? I know people say if they are happy dont change anything, but i always tend to push myself harder when im passionate about something.
Im very happy with the growth so far, ive already decided that the little one on the left will have to be moved outdoors because the other two will fill the tent.

Your plants look great. Keep doing what you are doing.
PPFD minimum recommendations are:
Seeding: 300 PPFD
Veg: 600 PPFD
Flower: 800 PPFD

A little off topic that needs some Edward scissorhands touch. There leaves the size of Andre the Giant hands get rid of those your plant will love you after. They look awesome keep up the good work. Peace be with you on the one outside.

Yes, in the second picture if you look you see how big that one leaf is it’s blocking the light for a lot of other leaves. I usually cut the biggest ones cuz they’ve been around the longest. Your plant will love you even more for it. I just took updated pictures and this is the third time I trimmed from this weekend. Today before I wanted photos.

The PPFD values @MidwestGuy supplied is spot on.
I personally would hold off on taking off leaves. As long as they’re in the light, they’re helping the plant grow. Once they are in the shade, they don’t contribute so much.
If any, some of the lowest, but I really prefer to wait if I can. As long as your fan is good, temps and RH are good.
But probably pretty soon.

Winner winner, their in veg. @Solidgold91 . Defoliate prior to flipping the light schedule then again at the end of week 3 and 6. LST helps tremendously for exposing future bud sites
