Pot and kratom for an interesting high

Anybody else do both. I’ve found that taking a few hits of good pot and then ingesting 15 grams or so of kratom keeps my 73 year old mind and body chugging along in good spirits, very sociable and full of energy. Last for hours too

@Billsmetro you made me google it…never heard of it before. Anyways

Thanks. I’ve done a lot research and i believe that the side effects are minimal and overblown my msm and the medical community.

I’ve personally watched, firsthand, people become addicted to it quicker than heroin. Tolerance builds up really fast. Be careful.

I love this line from the Mayo Clinic article above - " People who use kratom for relaxation report that because it is plant-based, it is natural and safe."

Well, by that rationale I need to run out and eat some datura or arsenic - both of which come from plants!
They’re totally safe and not poisonous at all, right? They come from plants!

I ain’t eating shit made in a Chinese factory, personally.

Thanks all. Sorry I brought this up

I watched a Rogan episode with Hamilton Morris and they discussed it. Pretty entertaining podcast that day.

@Billsmetro, no worries to bring it up. What if it went as good w cannabis as coffee, and we all didn’t know?

Most of the people I know that use kratom say cannabis doesn’t do it for them. They prefer Kratom. It’s easy to grow too. I know people that grow. Heck I think @CurrDogg420 had a plant too. They look like a hibiscus bush.

Honestly I have never tried it. I did do a lot of Kava root with cannabis. But the kava root was a Polynesian thing I tried (dads side of the family all Polynesian Hawaiians on big island) as a suggestion during manual labor. Honestly it would amp me up like too much coffee or coke. To jittery. I would smoke the weed to mellow. Now I figure all I need is the cannabis. All that kilo of kava root I had became compost. Cannabis till I die as I like to tell my weed hating wife.

I would not buy the stuff hanging off the rack at the quickie mart. By the cbd and glow in the dark condoms. If you like it you should get a plant going.

It was my wife’s plant, I’ve actually never tried it. I always told her I had enough bad habits already. I tried cloning it for her but it didn’t work. After she died I repotted it into a 20 gallon bag and gave it to her daughter.

Not to go off on a tangent, but hardwood clones are multiseason. As long as the stick stays green the next spring cycle will usually get budding (say9/10).
I hardwood clone BB, hydrangeas, roses, and peach apple and cherry (without grafting), dogwoods, lilacs, and even red leaf Japanese maples. Rose of Sharon hibiscus too.

Otherwise it’s a dead looking (green) stick with no leaves or foliage.

I may need some guidance on that topic, I’d like to rip out a honeysuckle I’ve got in the front yard and replace it with a row of hibiscus “rose of Sharon”. I’ve got a few bushes of it to take cuttings from, white and pink.

Well, well another one finds the truth. My wife and I DO MANG-DON Couple tablespoons great ,smoke or do oil and I am 65 she is 60 .the Vietmeness and Thai people use this green power for all things. It works been using both for years. The big Pharma company wants us all on their chemials. Heck no we grow our weed and veggies all orgranic

Do you grow your own kratom too?

Haven’t found seeds yet. But I believe I could.

I’ve only been trying kratom for about 6 months. No tolerance elevation on dosage. Take 3 or 4 times a week on average.

Enjoy the energy it provides with zero jitteriness, no after effects, no hangover and never feel like i must have another dose.

Mine is grown and cultivated in California not China.

I am a retired health practioner and read extensively on this products use over the centuries.

In addition as a health care practitioner and due to all of the rabid lies about covids severity plus the massive and egregious lies regarding the safety and efficacy of the so called mrna vaccines i lost much much respect for my peers and associates.

Our healthcare industry was massively compromised by woke ideologies and trusting them is at your own risk.

Lies are present everywhere to protect and push big pharma.

Ok…off my soapbox and going to take a few tokes and relax.

You might want to check with your state agriculture department before you go plant those things. They’re a border-line invasive species in some places. I think they’re in about the same boat as the Bradford pear as far as the Federal Ag dept is concerned.
I know in Virginia if you plant 1 and don’t maintain for a WIDE circle around it you’re gonna have a LOT more in no time!

My womans grandma could walk out into the yard in the dead of winter and break a branch off a tree, bring it into the house and root it at will.
She was a beast when it came to growing!
She had an apple tree with multiple strains grafted to it. Like more than 5!
She was a cool old lady!
