My leaves are canoeing. It is not the fan leaves, it is only the set of leaves that would be producing the buds when I start to flower them. This is only happening to two of my 10 plants and they are both Super Skunk. They are 10 weeks into veg and I wanted to veg them for a few more weeks before flowering. All of my other plants are relatively healthy. They are WWs and SSs. Can anyone tell me what might be going on with these two plants?strong text

Heat. Probably too close to the light or in too much sun.

I do WW and SS also. I had some SS canoe on me early this year.
Maybe it’s just one of those things.
I like the nice and tight buds I get from SS.

Great! I guess I will just give them less direct sunlight and less light when indoors and try to relax. I will start to flower around August first.

Think of it like a family of 6. 4 kids all eating their first peanut butter sandwich. Neither mom or dad has a peanut allergy but great grandma on dads side does. 1 kid goes to the ER and gets epinephrine, while the other 3 ask Dad for another sandwich.

Do you have a fan blowing directly on them? Looks more like wind burn than heat or light, since the one set of leaves looks blown over

Yes. But the fan oscillates so that all plants get some air. And the two affected plants are not next to each other. It could be wind. When they are outside the daily windspeed is about 12mph and when they are inside I have fans on them. I have read that it could be overwatering, heat, light, wind, or ph. I basically treat all my plants the same and don’t want to correct a problem that does not exist. That is why I am desperate to find out exactly what the issue is.

Does the fan. Blow directly on them? You want your fans to blow across the canopy, light wiggles. Leaves shouldn’t move much more than once ever thirty seconds. if the leaves are actively flopping around it’ll do that when they rub against each other

That must be it. I live in a hot climate, don’t have a/c, and worry about heat at night. So I do have my fans blowing directly on the plants until 11 pm when I turn the lights off. I’m afraid if I change my fans, I will create a heat problem. but I will definitely take your advice.
How hot does it get? My flower tents both hit mid 80s every day, had a little heat issue when it hit 90. But she fine.
See when it’s heat, it’s a lot of them. Across the whole canopy.

Looks like bugs. Check under the leaves or with a flashlight right before the sun comes up. It doesn’t look major yet. Expected when outside. Keep an eye on it, may need some mosquito bits.

In Hawai’i it gets around 85 every day. But when you don’t have a/c, the temperature inside my grow room tops 90. It takes hours for the room to cool off. At 6 am when it is 68 outside, it is 75 in my grow room.

That is pretty warm. Pruning and the fan going over the canopy and under the light will help a lot. If growing sativas they somewhat like it

Neither was my picture… was purely heat. My flowering tents are on a shared HVAC system. Especially once you consider that the picture I posted was under my weaker flowering light.
Man, your plant is gorgeous! Even with a heat issue. I hope I can have a plant like that one day. I have been afraid to use training techniques for fear of messing things up. Next year, I will practice various techniques on 2 plants each and see what works best for me
