Please Help! I'm a first time grower

Hi there, I’m a first-time grower and I thought I was prepared to start my grow but something is going wrong. I started 4 Blueberry autoflower seeds by placing them in my household tap water. 3 cracked and sprouted with 48 hrs and I put them in pre-soaked peet pods that had dried for a day so they weren’t soaking wet. The 4th seed didn’t sprout in that time so i left it in the water for another day hoping it would develop a tail and it didn’t so I took it out of the water and planted it the same way as the others. It’s 8 days since planting and here is what I have. I putnthebpeet pods on top of miracle grow potting soil. I’m spritzing them 2day with Bergmans seedling fertilizer. They are on a 16/8 light cycle, ventilated indoor greenhouse at averageof 73°F and 55/60% humidity. Soil ph is 7 if my meter is reading right. I set them outside for some fresh air and real sun about 2hrs ago under a vented dome. Came back to them and now they look worse. Please help. Not sure what I’m doing wrong. This is my second grow start and I don’t want to fail again.

@Diva- am new too. However had a successful start. Looks like they stretched for light. What type of light are you using, and how far away from the plant are you keeping it
2nd, :seedling: need a stable environment, I wouldn’t take it outside till veg stage.

Very important, don’t use MG!

I don’t dome, 24 seed soak, straight into a solo cup of Fox farms ocean Forrest soil.

Thanks for the input. While reading some forum topics it appears that some are saying FF soil is too hot for seedlings? How are yours doing? Also, if I’m using the FF which I have but was waiting till they were ready for transplant to use, do Instill need to water with the fertilizer mixture or will they get root burn?

Also using 45wt grow light strips about 4-5in away from seeds to start them. They have r/g/b spectrum no white but I have ordered galaxyhydro 600wt for my grow-tent

Insufficient light, Miracle Gro media will burn plants, peat pods are difficult and I assume by your post that you have one of those 3 in 1 soil probe meters: those are worthless. You need to a real digital PH and TDS meter.

Hi Myfriend. Thanks for the info. Should I try to get the seedling into the FF soil? I have a digital soil probe that only does ph level.

@Diva, when does your light Arrive? That burple light you ordered won’t get your plant to flower, but should get you to the start of veg. Those burples are false advertising on watts

My lights will arrive this coming Fri. Ti have 4 strips on at 45wtt per stip or so the info says on the lights. I’ll move the plants closer to try and save them. I just put them in the FF soil and gave them minimal distilled plain water to moisten the soil.

I highly recommend you read this thread, I followed his method and have amazing results at day 16. Keep us posted. You do have more seeds?

There is a good chance they got cooked under the dome. I would carefully add some starter mix around the stem for support and water them in. My last grow was blueberry autos. They are worth doing what you can to save them. No fertilizer is needed until the are 4-5 weeks.

Wait till you get your light

Once you get the light in your tent, I would hang it about 26" above the solo cup. As you check on it, which you will, post some pics if you have any questions…I’ll help you get through the seedling stage

This is what I’m talking about. Unless you spend a lot of money on a soil probe it’s not accurate enough (or even accurate at all!) and is a waste of money.
