So i just upgraded my diy compact chilled water dwc system. Not sure what to really call it but the dwc buckets sit in chilled water. My plan was to run 2 plants in each bucket with some training and whatnot. I like this fleche idea particularly the back flux (i think you called it). 2 plants back to back? I would love to try to do this in my dwc, and with clones. I got clones coming soon. Heres the new 2 bucket chilled water reservoir setup i just built for the next run.
Back flux: 2 plants, planted together back to back, supercropped in opposing directions. ![]()
Thatās how @Arrow taught me ![]()
Thats exacty what im talking about. I didnt know it was a thing. I just grew a big plant and noted the root size, thinking i could veg less and fit 2 plants. Then i found this thread this morning, and of course i got a woody.
i bern watching videos and reading about nebulahaze manifolds and main lining, cropping and super cropping. Trying to plan out my next run.
I just wasnt sure how i was gonna train them but i like this idea
When you attempt this, make sure you have plants/seedlings of roughly equal size and make sure you water/feed them āequallyā. Otherwise on side will overtake the other and will be much bigger than the other side. ![]()
Just water around the pot, slowly and you should be good! ![]()
Im doing dwc hydro
Both buckets have drip ring
Great! Then just make sure you start with equal size plants and youāll be golden. ![]()
I think Iāve said this before in this thread but it bears repeating: Thank you for sharing your āplant contortionā methods w/good pics. Youāre clearly quite skilled at it and Itās educational and very interesting for me!
