About 60 days into veg getting ready to go into flower and plants are looking very unhealthy. This is my first time every growing any type of plant and have no idea what To do to help/fix this problem. Any help is appreciated!
What are you feeding them? What is your runoff ph?
I am going to tag a few growers that helped me.
@Sirsmokesalot
@Nicky
@Caligurl
@Covertgrower
There are more but I can’t remember their handles. These people will help or find others that can.
Back off the nitrogen a bit. It has the nitrogen claw.
Not sure about runoff ph, just got a ph meter a few days ago and I know going in is about 5.7 I had to get some ph adjuster so I can bring that up to about 6.5? Is what I’ve been reading anyways. I’m feeding them this
10-4, I’m doing 1/4 tsp per gallon of water on the nutrients. Will go with a little less. Hoping to send them into flower within the next few days
Wouldn’t flower those ladies until you have nutes under control.
Just my .02 cents
Forsure that was the plan, trying to get it under control now so I can move forward. This was them about a week ago
Don’t flip yet, this is a key learning curve your in right now so don’t rush it.
Get a tds meter and a PH pen, PH up and ph down.
Google how to do a soil slurry test and do that report back PH and tds.
Covert is right to heavy on the nitrogen hence the dark dark green and the clawing.
Stop feeding nutrients if you are in soil, correct me if I’m wrong but since you mentioned 6.5 then that’s soil where as coco or hydro is 5.8
While we wait on order for that what are your high and low Temps and humidity?
Where does your exhaust ducting end up? Are you venting it outside?
Do you have a temp contoller for your exhaust fan? If not you should inkbird sells them cheap, this will be essential to controlling your environment.
Do those pots have drainage? They shouldn’t be sitting on the floor of the tent, they shiuld be raised and a dish should be under them. Make your own or buy em whatever you prefer.
You can grow in plastic but fabric is much superior, your in veg so after a soil slurry test we could always do a potting up. Good roots = good plant = good buds.
Hey Nicky when I get home from work I’ll give you a better response, thanks for your time! Trying to get to work
@Nicky I am growing in soil, ph up/down are on the way. Ph of water going in is 5.7 needs to be corrected.
Average temp is 70 degrees with a humidity of 33%. I have a humidifier on the way with a digital humidistat so I can control that as well. I’m exhausting into basement for now until I duct it outside wanted to get the carbon filter working because wife is pregnant and her sensitive nose can’t take the smell lol.
I will address pot drainage after I recover from tonight’s activities. Give me a few minutes and I will do the slurry test these are the meters I have
I know how to use the ph meter but not sure What a tds meter is need to research that more.
Also I see you are a medic for pipeline! I work in the gas field myself (operations tech) handling gas and working on the old reciprocating engines that compress the gas
Tds is total dissolved solids.
Yes I’m a paramedic for industry so I work on pipelines sometimes I’m on drilling rigs right now.
Definitely get the carbon filter and then vent it outside with a dryer vent style thst has the flaps on it to minimize back draft when the fans off.
Yeah the smell will get strong and she will tell you to shut it down lol
