Plant troubles please help

But I’ve been told to feed water feed water am confused now I fed on Monday and pots still Harvey do I feed it ph water today with cal mag or just wait till there dry a bit

Once leaves are damaged they don’t go away. I don’t grow in coco, but the others commenting earlier do. I can’t really say what is best there, I’ve seen people grow in coco feed every day and do fine. I’ve seen people rotate feedings and waterings and do fine. I’ve seen people not put anything in for days at a time and do fine. There’s always details that come along with doing each that likely make the difference between being successful and unsuccessful.

Plus some root damage IMO. @kabongster agrees.

@lastgasp2 it’s frustrating I know and it needs to be said that nobody here is in any way trying to be difficult and you’ve been very patient with all of the questions.

My read on this is the plant responded badly to the nutrient solution and sustained root damage that it’s having a hard time recovering from. Guarding and clawing and taco’ing with discoloration leads me to thing that’s the case. If the roots are diseased it may be hard to do anything else.

One thing I might suggest and chime in please: what about a dose of peroxide to disinfect the soil, kind of a reset, then introduce mykos and azos to the media afterward? Any thoughts? @Bogleg?

The fact that this plant has been put into flower is complicating things in my mind. How long has it been under 12/12 light @lastgasp2?

And just to really make sure we’re checking everything - what are the humidity levels during lights on and lights off in your grow space?

They have been in veg for like 10 weeks someone on her said the main stork looks mature and said I’d prob be better flipping to 12 12 like I say I. Veg for ten weeks only grown to 9 inches this first week flower my humidity is like 55 lights on and like 70 lights of

Nevermind - just read that they are in the first week of flower.

So, if it were MY plant, this is what I would do. I am not saying you should do this, just telling you what I would do if I were in this situation:

  1. I would put the plant back in veg until I figure out what’s wrong with it and correct it - I like to go into flower with as healthy a plant as possible
  2. I would flush the plant until runoff PPMs measure < 100ppms. I would PH the water going in to 5.8-6.2.
  3. I would follow that flush up with a very light feeding of around 300ppm, PH 6.0.
  4. I would let the pot dry out completely between watering and I would only water the plant - NO NUTRIENTS - until I saw new growth and it’s condition
  5. Once I saw new growth, I would inspect it and decide my next feeding based on it
  6. I would make sure that my humidity is at least 50% and that my temps are staying below 84F

As an FYI, my root-bound moms in one gallon pots of 70/30 coco/perlite typically need to be watered/fed every other day. I let them dry out completely between watering/feeding.

And one last thing, I would probably introduce Hydroguard and/or Hygrozyme to my nutrient mix and include that in my light feeding.

I hear that - but you also wrote this:

So we don’t know if the flushes actually worked properly.

How do u measure ppm I have never done this

Many available for $12-$15 US
This is what you would use to check your feed PPM after mixing in nutes before feeding to get input numbers correct and then use it to check your run off to see those numbers as well.

Haha I just did the same thing! Lol work it like u do PH meter pretty much.

Nicely done. What about sterilizing the media/root mass with some 50/50 3% H2O2 then reintroduce beneficial microbes?

@Myfriendis410 Shouldn’t the flush pretty much do that?

I’m not sure in coco if that’s a good idea - I would defer to someone who is smarter than me on coco/soilless/non-hydro grows. I think the enzymes from Hygrozyme would clean up any dead root matter and probably right any wrongs in the rhizosphere.

@WickedAle would probably know. See above post :point_up_2::point_up_2:
