I don’t know what I did wrong but it week 6 from seed and prob about 3 weeks into flower

They don’t live a long time. Old ones dry up and new ones grow out.
Unless they all die back and you don’t get new ones at this point you are fine.
Eventually they will all mostly dry up. Many plants will continue to throw out new pistils even when they are ready to harvest.

Not my thread but great info. I have a northern lights that I’ve been waiting on 90% of the pistils to turn over but each day I swear I see new ones when the old ones curl.
As for your question @Jpbegin, you’re good. They look completely normal. As was mentioned above, pistils will turn amber and curl. New ones will form. Part of it’s life.

The orange pistols are a good sign. Once most are orange. They will start curling up. That tells me I will need to start checking the trichomes soon. 
It looks like they are doing good.

For that stage, they are very dense in fact. That last picture is going to be a real HAWG.
Look how stretched out @Spiney_norman example looks compared to yours…and look what it swelled into.
