I just wanna cook one dinner that I don’t hear “BUT I WANT” or “I DON’T LIKE”. I had a derperate housewife moment 2 weeks ago and dumped a whole pan of homemade chicken enchiladas in the garbage, minus the 4 for my plate. Had a nice quiet dinner alone on the porch. My stepdaughter is so picky I wait for her to throw the plate at the wall like Jack Nicholson in Anger Management.

My grandmaw taught me how to cook we use to spend our summers with them when i was a kid spent hours in the kitchen with her now days kids have no clue about smoked ham hocks just want McDonald’s or pizza alot of great recipes being lost to time :pensive:

This makes me happy my kids are long gone. Lol I enjoy a visit and seeing the grandbaby. “Visit” being keyword.

Growing up if we didn’t like what was on the table we went hungry for the night. Guaranteed we’d eat breakfast. :grin:

My son was easy to feed. A few veggies didn’t go down well.

My wife has a cheeto problem and I didn’t even know they made a cheeto Mac and cheese. I see a few boxes slipping into her stocking this year.

Yea just grand kids now like you said love when they VISIT :rofl: they leaving today back to Florida sure they’ll be back for Thanksgiving feast Paw paw makes :grin::grin:

Have you ever stuffed a turkey w a pound of weed and a stick of butter? I always make one for me, and a regular one for the family. :poultry_leg:
