Happy weekend everyone! Question… What is a good remedy for moths, lady bugs, etc? I am growing in my garage. I have some apple cider vinegar in a cup, that I was told that would help. I have some little moths that are getting in my clay pebbles. Any home remedies or products that are must haves? Any and all help is appreciated!

You don’t want to get rid of lady bugs as they are actually helpful. They are harmless to plants and they consume the harmful insects. You can actually buy lady bugs in bulk from Amazon.
Pest strips, diatomaceous earth, and Capt Jack’s Deadbug are all useful. Some use neem oil, but keep in mind that neem cannot be used on a flowering plant.

Heard of a new product today OrganiShield, 100% organic, won’t harm pollinators, no residue, safe for humans and animals. It sound like a good product. I ordered some this morning, will see how it works in my outside garden, and will have it on hand just in case my indoor grow gets any issues. It says it’s effective on spider mites, white flies etc

This stuff has worked for me for years. This sample bottle makes a gallon. If no probs yet use as a prevent every couple weeks. Usable to harvest DAY!! If an issue with bugs a heavy dose and they are history. Fungicide/miticide/insecticide organic. Mold and mites just disappear.

The one I mentioned says white flies, which is why I got it. Have an issue with my cucumbers and tomatoes due to white flies, gonna hit them hard this year

I’m a big fan of Purecrop1 and captain jacks dead bug! I hit my apple trees and blueberries with both alternating as needed. Also, used on my outdoor weed and it works awesome!

Just a mention. If gnats or flies that lay eggs in soil use mosquito bits soaked in water overnight. Add to feed water. All eggs and larva die in a few days. All adults gone in 3.

Are you sure it’s lil moths?. White flys flutter around a lot like moths. And will congregate on the clay substrate.
Moths usually lay eggs and are outta there. .
It’s their lil caterpillars that realease the havoc.

Its ok but wont stop caterpillars and moths eggs, you need a bt spray

I am not 100% sure if it is a little moth or not. I need to get something on them quick then.

Check under leaves for aphids they fly and look like white flies. Look real close they are tiny

If you have ladybugs don’t spray anything poisonous or use pest strips because you will catch the lady bugs too.
