A question from a fellow grower:

I keep reading, trying to figure out what this plant is needing and am still confused. I sure don’t want to lose this plant it is a seed I paid quite a bit of money for. Near as I can tell it is needing sulfur and this can be taken care of by adding Epsom salt to the water. Am I on the right track or what do you recommend I do for this plant. I feel it really needs help and quickly.

The appearance could indicate a magnesium or sulfur deficiency as well as maybe iron or nitrogen deficiencies. As light yellow as it is and with green in the veins I’m kinda leaning toward iron and calcium deficiencies.

What type of growing media/soil is it?

What is the PH of your runoff?

Is the soil really wte, and what are you using?
