Outdoor hydro & what to expect

Hello folks, I need a bit of help/advise please. I have a Hydro outdoor grow in Dutch buckets (12 buckets ) with Afghan autos, they were seedlings on Aug.1st in the hot Southwest USA ,it was just a experiment due to the heat, to my surprise they did well under a shade cloth.
Now that the weather has cooled way off & temps down to the mid 40’s some nights, I was wondering what I can expect in terms of harm to the plants due to the cooler temps as well as the cooler water temps? Any input will be appreciated.

How long have they been flowering Growmie? Post some pics :love_you_gesture:

I’ll try to get some pic’s, not real internet savvy, they have been in flower for 6 weeks, the buds look good as far as I know as I’m a novice.

Dont let them freeze, but just cold wont hurt them.
Watch for bud rot. Cooler temps lead to wetter conditions.
Once the pistils start to all turn brown check the trichomes and when they go cloudy (milky looking and not clear) then harvest the buds.

Thank you !
