Outdoor Guerilla Grow Journal

Well keep posting some weed pics each week! Oh by the way, you can get green golf course driving range netting that you can hang around your plants to keep deer from grazing on it. I use the black stuff cuz it was free.

We use coyote urine to deter most animals.

I’ve grown the God Bud from BC Bud Depot too! And love potion number nine. The God Bud was actually the first seeds I ever bought. Lol

@Cannacure That’s so cool that you grew the Godbud from them too!! And coyote urine would work like a charm I bet! I’ve always just brought my own urine though, lol. I save it for about two weeks and when you start to pour it after that, man does it reek. Also I hang dryer sheets on each plant to keep the deer away from them and I’ve also used garlic cloves hanging on them to help.

Update: got the 4 Northern Lights seeds, the 4 Deadhead, the 2 Whoopie pie and 1 gelato all in soil and in the humidity dome and under the light. There’s one gelato seed that hasn’t popped so I figured I’d wait till at least tonight and give it more time in the paper towel to pop before putting it into the soil. I’m expecting them to sprout by morning or tomorrow night so I should have some pics of them soon.

Either tonight or tomorrow night I’m going to check on the 12 Skywalker Kush plants that are out, last night the temp went down to 36 with a frost advisory I heard and it’s been mostly in the 50s at night ever since they’ve been out so I’m kinda worried about the cold front and how they did through it.
Tonight is supposed to get down to 41 but after tonight it’s all 50s and 60s at night, so I hope they’re doing okay out there.

@Cannabian I’ve thought about putting some netting up but at this site i don’t think the deer will be too bad of a problem.

If you can risk it, place some small hoop houses over them until the risk of frost and cold is done, if you cant do that, water the ground around the plants really well it will prevent frost from forming.

@Cannabian, the ground is pretty wet where they are anyway so maybe it wont be too bad of an issue there. I didn’t think of that before but it’s a good point. And what do you mean by hoop houses? After tonight it’s back to being like almost summer weather, so if they make it through tonight then they should be golden after that.

I had to make little bush greenhouses like mini poly tunnels with wire and plastic for some bush weed because a cold front came in and snowed all over the hills I planted in. Tge snow melted the next day and I kept the little tents over my plants for a few more days.

@Cannacure That’s a great idea tbh!

This is the forecast for the next few days

This is my back yard tobgive youba sense of the terrain here. The side of that lake I live on faces South , unlike all the other big lakes in BC. Therefore, we get solid sun all day. The hills are full of creeks and streams. Hill folk have been growing weed in these slopes for years!

Much of the best bush weed Canada has to offer comes from here and the Kootenay region.

No its real perty here! Can get buggy! Loads of deer! And obviously pot thieves are always an issue no matter where you live. The outdoor season is generally considered to be May to Sept but a greenhouse or poly tunnels can give you a few weeks on either end maybe a month extra in the fall. Then the snow hits!

A little over 12 hours into the soil and we got some sprouting! So far so good with these!
And I will be heading out tonight to check on the Skywalkers that are out and will have pictures up either when I get back or tomorrow morning!!
The twisty ties in the seedling dirt are what I’m using to keep the strains separated, if anyone was wondering (upload://x6H7McFIL4uPSpjeNmMGwhKxIbU.jpeg)
